Porn Valley- In the most perfect of all legal worlds, Old-Spice men’s deodorant would probably have sued the Spice Channel for name infringement or whatever the trademark attorneys call it.

But that sounds exactly like what’s happening in the case of the Urban Spice Awards. Apparently the Spice Channel doesn’t like the fact that director Giana Taylor, wife of Alex DaVoe, is putting a show together with the name “spice” in it. Word is Taylor’s been getting threatening letters from the Channel.

Taylor bought the name www.urbanspiceawards.com and on the website states that the awards celebrate and showcase the achievements of Black, Latin, Asian and Interracial productions.
