Hightstown, NJ – The inaugural Storerotica Show proved to be a tremendous marketing event for International Video Distributors (IVD) and East Coast News (ECN), providing plenty of opportunity to promote new services and products through networking with retailers, manufacturers and other distributors at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
“The show was phenomenal,” said Jereme Cohen, vice president of sales for ECN. “IVD/ECN was in full force, and it was a total team effort by everyone there.”
With their booths forming a gateway into the show floor, IVD and ECN greeted a steady stream of show-goers with the help of the Girls Gone Wild models at IVD. Adding to the excitement was the announcement that IVD, the exclusive distributor for the GGW Platinum Edition series, would release new volumes of the highly popular series in HD and Blu-Ray in the near future.
IVD and ECN also took top honors for “Adult Product Distributor of the Year” during the Storerotica Awards, held Monday, August 27, at the Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club in the Stratosphere Hotel and Casino. Hosted by Teeze and Adult Store Buyer magazines – sponsors of the Storerotica Show – the awards honored several “best of” in the adult marketplace as selected by the publications’ readers.
“The show was a great success for us,” said Adam Hasner of Evolution. “We were able to talk to the store owners about our upcoming release schedule, and Tera posed for pictures with everyone who stopped by.”
Hasner was referring to Pleasure Productions’ contract star, Tera Wray, greeted a never-ending stream of fans at the Pleasure Productions/Evolution Distribution booth. A top contender for Best New Starlet this year, Wray was also a co-host at the awards show, along with former Pleasure contract star, Gina Lynn.
“I had a great time,” said Wray, who tirelessly smiled and posed for pictures throughout the 3-day event. “Dude, the show was awesome and I loved meeting everyone who came by the booth.”
The show was also a success for Effex Media, the premier online store solution for the adult industry, which also had a booth at the show.
“The Storerotica show was a nice addition to the show circuit for EffexMedia.com this year,” said John Mauser, vice president of sales and marketing for Effex Media. “We were able to meet and discuss with brick-and-mortar store owners the importance of having an online presence to compliment their business. It truly was a well-planned networking event with a combination of talent, products, and services.”
