The pieces of this porno murder puzzle started coming together. While the mainstream media’s identifying a suspected killer-on-the-lam in a machete slaying at Ultima DVD www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=42131 as Stephen Hill a porn actor, Hill’s better known to the industry as Steve Driver [pictured].
According to what I’ve learned so far, Driver was often used as an “orgy fuck boy” a designation given to a non-billed performer who’d show up for bukkake shoots or multi guy cum slams. Driver was also described as a porn nerd, a quiet type who would often show up at conventions to hang around the girls. Contrary to reports that he was a web page designer, Driver was a porn performer.
Driver also had a MySpace page in which he was shown wielding a Samurai sword, Kill Bill style. The victim of what’s being described as a machete attack by Driver is Herbert Wong aka Tom Dong, another hanger-on in the business and a performer often used in the same capacity as Driver- an orgy fuck boy.
Dong, one of the few Asian performers in the business, was also used in a variety of fetish videos because he could work well in that capacity. Dong is described by many as a “nice guy who couldn’t hurt a flea.” Dong was supposedly living at Ultima DVD as well as Driver who was apparently told he was losing his job and a place to stay and so went nuts.

“This is getting to be like some kind of Indian burial ground,” the Grand Vizier was telling me.
“It’s a tiny place where Tom Dong and some other guy were living.”
The Grand Vizier suspects that among the other two wounded casualties at the murder scene, one might have been one of the owners of Ultima DVD whose jaw was busted during the War Machine flare up. But this is only a guess.
A later report said one of the victim’s hands was slashed so severely he is in danger of having it amputated and that Dong was stabbed three times in the back and didn’t die immediately.

Adult industry worker and performer Stephen Hill, aka “Steve Driver,” has a violent past, according to LA Now, including a 1998 assault conviction in Maryland following an incident in which he “threatened a teaching assistant [at a college campus] with a handgun,” and demanded he be assigned an A for the course.
But a series of emails sent among adult entertainment industry insiders obtained by LAist reveal that Hill’s instability was much-discussed and cautioned against within the business. Emails sent in mid-April that include the suspect’s full name and alias mention not only Hill’s criminal record, but threats he made at industry gatherings, his transient lifestyle and the likelihood of him being armed. The emails also contained three separate images showing Hill brandishing weapons.
Hill, 30, allegedly used a machete-like weapon to stab three of his co-workers at a video facility in Van Nuys, one of whom died from their wounds after being taken to the hospital. While the deceased’s name has not been released, online speculation points to porn actor Tom Dong, a star of several foot fetish films.
However, not all who received the warning emails about Hill, aka Driver, felt the need to fear the struggling actor. Dan Leal, CEO of Immoral Productions, says he was acquainted with Hill, and always felt he was “nice and respectful.” To Leal, the information about Hill that was being shared within the industry did not inspire a strong reaction. In fact, Leal says he was “pretty shocked” this morning when he heard of Hill’s alleged rampage, that may have taken the life of Dong, with whom Leal worked on two occasions.
Hill, meanwhile, remains at large. He had been living and working at the Van Nuys facility where the stabbing spree took place, and it is believed he had just found out he was losing his job and place to stay.

Los Angeles Police Department Det. Joel Price said Hill was both working and living at the offices of Ultima DVD Inc.
Price said Hill did production work and acted in several porn movies. But on the night of the attack, he apparently faced the loss of his job and eviction from the office.
Hill allegedly fled after stabbing the three co-workers. The victims were rushed to a hospital, where one was pronounced dead. There were seven people in the office when the attack occurred.
The LAPD is investigating the attack as a case of workplace violence. The suspect fled in a blue Toyota RAV4 with license plate 5YTC423.

Police Detective Joel Price says the alleged attacker had been living at the adult entertainment business for several months but his colleagues told him he had to make other arrangements by Wednesday.
Price says Steven Hill attacked a colleague in the back of the building after work Tuesday with a machete-like weapon. Price says two others who heard the man’s screams ran to help him and were also attacked before Hill fled the scene.
One of two people who tried to help died in surgery at a local hospital. The others are expected to survive.
The victims’ names have not been released.

Few details were immediately available about the investigation, but officials reported that 30-year-old Steven Hill—a web designer at an adult company identified as Ultimata DVD at 7625 Hayvenhurst Ave., near the intersection with Saticoy near the Van Nuys airport—used a machete-type weapon to stab a co-worker after he was asked to leave the building.The exact company was not immediately clear.
Initial reports from news station KTLA are that Hill, whom police said had a Canoga Park address but had been living in the company building, had been told he was not being fired but would need to cease living in the building by Tuesday.
Investigators said Hill had not displayed any violent behavior prior to the incident, when he grabbed the weapon and stabbed a co-worker. Two others in the building came to assist the first victim, and Hill stabbed them as well, reports stated. One of the victims died from injuries sustained. Names, gender, and ages of the victims were not immediately available.
