New York- The Tens strip club claims a former employee absconded with a valuable book containing the names of 5,000 VIP clients – and the Tens team plans to sue the alleged thief and his new employer, Rick’s Cabaret-NY. Kenneth Sistrunk, who worked as Tens’ VIP host for 12 years before jumping ship to Rick’s Cabaret-NY, allegedly made off with the valuable list of names in July and has been using it to lure clients to the new Midtown flesh palace. A ticked-off Tens rep tells PAGE SIX: “He’s been calling our staff and unsuccessfully trying to bring them to Rick’s. I can only assume he’s doing the same with the clientele. The fact is [Rick’s Cabaret] has been profiting from our property, so we intend to sue them as well as Kenneth. Our lawyers are already preparing to file the suit here in New York.”
But Eric Langan, president and CEO of the NASDAQ-traded Rick’s Cabaret International, which owns the new Midtown outpost, disputes the charges to PAGE SIX: “We have never seen such a book, and even if one exists, we don’t need it. We are attracting a club full of VIPs all by ourselves, and our grand opening isn’t even until Wednesday.” Sistrunk did not return our calls.
