Tampa, Florida -Tampa officials say the “Sex and So Much More” show is better suited for a local strip club than their convention center.

The national convention features sex toys, D-V-Ds and appearances by adult film icons such as Ron Jeremy. The convention used public venues in Minneapolis and Dallas.

But the idea of bare flesh in the convention center is too much for Tampa.

City Attorney David Smith says it could happen at an appropriate venue such as Mons Venus, one of the city’s strip clubs, but it couldn’t happen at the convention center.

The convention’s promoters say there are lingerie shows and male dancers at the three-day event, but no explicit nudity. Even coordinator Kari Calder says if “they need to wear bras, then so be it.”
