Maryland- A 56-year-old Maryland high school teacher who allegedly put a photo of his genitals on a woman’s parked car in Middletown has been arrested.
New Castle County police Monday arrested Lawrence Gulick, of the first block of Farmdale Drive in Earleville, and charged him with indecent exposure. Gulick, who is a high school teacher in North East, Md., was released on $1,500 unsecured bail, county police spokesman Cpl. Trinidad Navarro said.
The incident occurred at 3 p.m. in Middletown Square Shopping Center, Navarro said, when a 35-year-old woman returned to her parked car and found a picture of a man’s genitals on her car door.
The woman allegedly saw Gulick slouching in his car while watching her reaction, Navarro said. The woman noted Gulick’s tag number and called police.
Gulick had left the shopping center by the time Cpl. Wayne Blomquist arrived, Navarro said, but Blomquist was able to find Gulick’s car and stopped him at Market Square Shopping Center on Middletown Warwick Road.
Additional pictures of Gulick’s genitals were reportedly found in the car, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He also was charged with drug and paraphernalia possession.
