Porn Valley- XXX director calls me today.

XXXD: I’m doing what everybody else is doing- I’m trying to work without looking like I’m working. That’s what’s been going on. I’m not talking about my stuff because everyone’s been uptight about this 60-day moratorium.

Gene: Everybody knows everybody else is shooting.

XXXD: I know.

Gene: Are you still shooting for…

XXXD: XXXXXXXX. I’m getting a lot of work from them. They’re jumping up in production. That’s what’s been going on. But I can’t say much because there’s some companies out there that are pissed that anybody is shooting. Personally I don’t give a damn because I’m doing things as safely as possible but I don’t want entities like AIM saying XXXXXXX doesn’t care. Generally I love publicity but not right now.

Gene: It’s not like this is the best kept secret.

XXXD: Everyone is trying not to look like they’re the only ones shooting when, in fact, everyone’s shooting! Who do they’re think they’re fooling? I guess as long as nobody reads it, it’s not happening.

Gene: it’s business as usual but it’s monkey business.
