from www.thedickblog.wordpress.com - When Kiki Daire got into the porn industry, she was young, had a huge pair of tits and was looking to make a name for herself. She found success, won a few awards…you know, the usual stuff. After a while she got engaged, left the business, moved out of Los Angeles and was going to live the life that someone else wanted her to live. I can assure you, that did not work out. But finally, after dealing with the regular stuff life throws at you, having went to college and strapped with a smaller, yet still fantastic set of breasts, Kiki Daire is on her comeback and she is looking to make it a good one.
Q: Where are you from?
Kiki Daire: Memphis, Tennessee.
Q: What was it like growing up?
KD: It was different back then. Kids played outside after school, computers were in their infancy. The fanciest video games were Atari.
Q: What were you like in high school?
KD: I was a straight A student without cracking a book till I tested into the gifted program in junior high. I was a band nerd till the rebellious period hit.
Q: How old were you when you first lost your virginity? And what was it like?
KD: Girl virginity, 12, fun. Boy virginity, 17 or 18, and it sucked.
Q: What was your first job?
KD: Cashier at a grocery store.
Q: What made you decide to get into the adult film industry and how did you pursue getting into it?
KD: It was something I decided to do for a number of reasons, but mostly because I wanted a better salary on the feature circuit. I started meeting people and did things on stages. First I did the kindergarten feature circuit and pageants, then magazines, then movies. The movies/magazine work didn’t really get rolling until I moved to Los Angeles.
Q: How old were you when you got into it?
KD: 19
Q: What was the name of the first film you did?
KD: Lesbian virgins 4 directed by James Gunn.
Q: Who was it with?
KD: The other actress was a stripper we picked up in Tampa.
Q: What companies have you worked for?
KD: Just about all of them.
Q: Who are some of your favorite male talents to work with?
KD: I get along with most everyone. I’d throw out names, but I don’t know most of the new guys yet.
Q: Who are some of your favorite female talents to work with?
KD: Again, I don’t know most of the new girls. I do prefer to work with women I consider friends like Nikita Denise, Kaylynn, and Dee Siren.
Q: What are some of your favorite scenes to do?
KD: My tastes really are so varied, but the most important thing is being able to enjoy the moment. Usually if we are laughing and joking, we are having fun. That always shows on camera.
Q: What was it like when you made the decision to stop doing porn?
KD: It was a very interesting time in my life. At that point, I was engaged and moved out of Los Angeles. Most of the people in my life were very judgmental and I had no idea how to relate to that or them. My ex-fiance essentially wanted to make me over into what he thought I should be in order to fit into his world. Ultimately, it just didn’t work.
Q: When you were ready to come back why did you decide to hold off?
KD: Life stuff.
Q: What made you decide to get smaller implants?
KD: At the time I was going to a prestigious university and trying to fit into my new life. The larger implants just weren’t working with what I was trying to accomplish.
Q: What was it like when you were finally ready to come back into the industry?
KD: It was kind of like coming home after a long absence.
Q: How long do you plan on staying in the business?
KD: Until I’m sick of it.
Q: Do you want to eventually do other things within the business?
KD: I’m always looking at things I want to do, things I want to learn. Right now, I’m learning how to run my website myself, shoot and edit my own content. I’d love to direct.
Q: How many awards have you won and would you like to win anymore?
KD: I won an award in Spain for best anal scene back in 2003. Various nude pageant titles. At this point, Id love a couple of American awards.
Q: What are your goals in the business this time around?
KD: To enjoy it. Life is short.
Q: What are your fans like? How did they handle your hiatus? And how did they handle your return?
KD: My fans are great. I have some very, very loyal ones. They have been a huge part of my success and I thank them for it. Their requests for me in various company’s projects have been listened to and I’ve done some great new scenes because of it.
Q: When you first got into the business, how did people in your personal life handle it once and if they found out?
KD: I have family I don’t speak to, friends that disappeared. It happens that way, its one of the reasons that people in the adult business tend to have few friends outside of co-workers.
Q: How do men who you get romantically involved with handle what you do for a living?
KD: Its tough. Relationships are tough anyway.
Q: How is everything now in your life compared to when you first left the business?
KD: Its very, very different.
Q: What advice would you give a young Kiki Daire who is just starting out in the adult business?
KD: Be very, very cautious of who you trust.
