At the mention of the Rob Spallone-Peter Kinsler baseball bat incident, The Vizier says little reported was the fact that Spallone also took a pair of scissors and stabbed Kinsler’s couch something like 50 times.
Skeeter also mentions that hadn’t Mr. Jibs got a couple of last minute big deals, he was ready to leave town.
“He was waiting for those budgets to come through.”
The Vizier says, regardless of what you hear or read, porn money’s getting tight, and people are now stabbing one another in the back over hundreds, not thousands of dollars like they normally would. It’s about chump change. The Grand Vizier heard that one major agent has been calling around trying to make deals on behalf of his girls.
“He’s wanting to accelerate deals because his girls are crying,” states The Viz. “But a lot of guys aren’t willing to bargain. There are girls who will book for less if their agent calls up and says, hey, I know it’s way below your rate but you are not working today. So you can be with your pimp or have your choice. Do you want to earn this today or smoke and drink and watch TV? There are a lot of people out there suffering.”
I mention the fact that Leilani Li www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=24811 was supposed to have called me. She was apparently having a problem collecting money from Metro. But Li hasn’t called. At least yet.
And Russ Pasquale www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=13661 who had been the salesman for Mitch Spinelli’s Acid Rain apparently told Mitch that Metro was offering him more money and he was considering going back to them. Mitch told Pasquale it was nice knowing him. I also heard a rumor that Heidi Pike Johnson was heading back to LA after breaking up with a boyfriend. She had been living in Chicago.
Skeeter wonders why he hasn’t received a check from David Sturman.
“We’re going on Day 50,” says Skeeter who put all the money up front for a Mayhem shoot he directed. The amount supposedly comes to $15,800 for six scenes.
“Which came in $427 under the agreed upon budget,” states Skeeter.
But here’s where it gets tricky. After turning in the movie, Skeeter is told by Brian, the editor at Sin City, that everything was fine and dandy with the footage. As time went by Skeeter began getting conflicting stories from Brian about so-called technical problems. Next, Skeeter learned that Brian was now getting Mayhem projects to direct, so Skeeter suspects he would have been in the direct line of fire and now be considered a competitor by Brian. Shenanigans?
“The deal I made was if you don’t like my product don’t buy it,” says Skeeter. “I already have a buyer for it right now if Dave wasn’t want it. But I haven’t heard anything.”
Skeeter says when he first turned in the project, he was told it was a perfect package by every Sin City standard.
“So I don’t know, brother,” relates Skeeter. “If I fucked up I’d tell you.”
Except Skeeter’s now being told there was camera noise from his hand but another editor has told him it’s no problem to eliminate. He also got corroborating views on that from Max Hardcore and another editor.
I tell Skeeter and The Vizier the story that was related to me about Chavon Taylor.
“She was caught on surveillance camera stealing $40 out of a Red Light District employee’s purse. It happened at Red Light. The company’s legal department got involved.”
“Taylor has verified it,” I continue. “She was let go from Gold Star Modeling recently and may be dropped from LA Direct. Part of the reason why she was let go from Gold Star was an incident in which Taylor took money from Kylee Reese and Clair Dames when they all lived together. They filed something with the police. There’s also a case pending with Taylor busting their window and taking a bunch of shit. They had some proof because they lived in a gated community and Taylor had to go by a guard tower. Her license plate was photographed. There was a solid case.”
