Porn Valley- I spoke to the irrepressible Skeeter Kerkove Friday afternoon. Skeeter’s telling me about the time John Bowen [pictured] ripped off Bridgette by shooting her in a scene then bouncing a check to her.
Skeeter drove Bridgette to Bowen’s studio when Bowen was located in North Hollywood and ran Cream Entertainment. Skeeter left Bridgette off at the studio then went to do some errands. He says Bridgette worked with some $100 porn guy and doesn’t even remember his name. Which is saying something for Skeeter.
Bowen had promised Bridgette cash which made the prospects of the scene that more appealing. Bridgette was to get $1,000.
Except Bridgette didn’t get cash as promised. She got a check and it was a Saturday. On Monday, Skeeter went to the bank to discover there were no funds in that account. Nothing. When Bowen wasn’t answering the phone, Skeeter called up agent Mark Spiegler completely freaked out.
“My wife is calling me a loser. She’s saying I fucked up- I’ve got to pay her with my own money,” Skeeter told Spiegler. “I tell Bridgette I got it covered- here’s the money.”
Skeeter felt he needed to do that because he booked the scene in a sense.
“An agent should do that.”
According to Skeeter, Rob Spallone, www.starworldmodeling.com, then got involved and said he’d take care of the matter.
“Rob Spallone said he would take care of it and he did, bro,” laughs Skeeter. “I got one more check that was bad and I really flipped out. And then I made more calls to Mark Spiegler. Then Spallone called me and we got the check and cashed it at Bank of America in Sun Valley.
“I was so happy because I got my money back. I had already given Bridgette a grand. I would not have gotten it if not for Spallone. But John Bowen knowingly wrote a check to Bridgette that not only had insufficient funds it had no money. Clearly it meant he did it on purpose. And guess who warned me about it? Mike Quasar [who used to shoot for Bowen] warned me.
“I told Bowen we don’t accept bad checks- nobody does that to us and he’s telling me how rich he was. He had this tall, curvy, good-looking transsexual receptionist working for him- big thick lips, big hair, big tits. I wanted to believe Bowen even though Mike Quasar warned me about him. He was right. Be careful, just like he warned me about Mike Albo.”
“All the advice Mike Quasar has given me has always been right,” Skeeter continues. “Always, always.”
According to Skeeter, Mike Quasar had been commissioned by Albo to write a full, slamming expose on the Kerkoves.
“He has all the videos, all the interviews but Mike Albo didn’t want it because it was too good,” says Skeeter. “He turned it down. Mike Quasar was so honest he told me, ‘Bro, if I’m going to fuck you, I’m going to fuck you. I already told Mike Albo these are my friends, they work for Metro all the time. She’s like the unofficial conteact girl. She shoots more for Metro than any girl. They never fuck us over. They do everything.’
“I told Mike, if you find bad things to write about, and there is, write it,” Skeeter says. “So Mike just wrote the truth. To his surprise, when he found out the amount of commercial property I own, that’s what opened his eyes. If I’m saying this right, Mike Quasar turned in a 5,000 word story on the Kerkoves. And Albo didn’t want it because it was good. Albo wanted it to be a slaughter story saying my only existence is because of Bridgette, Otherwise I’m dead and hopeless. It was a bad judgment call on his part.”
According to Skeeter if some due diligience had been exercised, Flynt money wouldn’t have been wasted pursuing the story in the first place.
“No wonder the poor guy’s at AVN now,” Skeeter concludes. “Larry Flynt kicked him out. Albo dropped a line lower.”
