Las Vegas- Curiously with 13 sex scenes, and some of the edgiest you’ll find in any adult production including DP fisting, Corruption got one award in that category- Best Solo Scene. That went to Alana Evans. But no matter. The blistering movie from Sex Z Pictures about dirty politics embracing even dirtier bedfellows won probably what mattered most- the Best Video Feature at the 24th Annual AVN Awards Show.

Corruption’s lead star Hillary Scott, who played a sex slave to a senator, also took home the award for Best Actress. But even more important, the cute-as-a-button Scott was named Female Performer of the Year while Tommy Gunn, nominated for the second year in a row, won Male Performer of the Year.

Corruption also took a number of key awards in the creative categories including Best Director which was won by Eli Cross. Cross and Alvin Edwards also received the Best Screenplay Award while Robin Dyer and Mark Logan took it for Best Editing. And Bryn Pryor, who also set an AVN record for winning awards under three different names, also got one in the Best Non-Sex Performance category for playing the vile senator.

In other major categories, Female Foreign Performer of the Year went to Katsumi while Male Foreign Performer of the Year was won by Jean Val Jean. Naomi was named Best New Starlet while Tommy Pistol whose name bears a curious resemblance to Tommy Gunn’s won for Best Male Newcomer.

Meanwhile, Wicked Pictures’ Manhunters won in the category of Best Film with Randy Spears and Jessica Drake winning Best Actor and Actress. In other categories Manhunter also saw Brad Armstrong winning for Best Director and Best Screenplay; and Best Anal Sex Scene went to Jada Fire, Sandra Romain and Brian Surewood.
