Update: Jenna Jameson Making Video Store Appearance

MANSFIELD, Ohio — Retired porn superstar Jenna Jameson will appear at Adultmart today for the store’s grand opening.

Corporate officials said Wednesday the Adultmart at 2400 Interstate Circle, just south of Mansfield, will host an autograph session with Jameson from 7 to 9 p.m.

The store opened quietly in January until local residents saw the business’s 80-foot sign towering above the hotels and restaurants at Interstate 71 and Ohio 13.

Madison Township trustees have since changed local regulations to make it tougher for a sexually oriented business to operate within township boundaries.

Supporters of the Richland Community Family Coalition protested the opening of the store early on, hoping to find a way to close it down. However, the store has remained opened and expects to draw a crowd today with Jameson’s visit.

An Adultmart spokesperson said Jameson’s appearance will be her first adult industry-related appearance since she retired in January 2008.
