Update: SC lawyer, filmmaker sues HBO for deceiving with porn movie

The idiot filing a lawsuit against HBO is a lawyer.

from www.news.sc- A former lawyer and independent filmmaker from South Carolina is suing HBO and Showtime for advertising his film “The Hills Have Thighs” and then showing, instead, a soft core porn movie with the same name.

The Associated Press reports that James “Bubba” Cromer told family and friends to watch his film which was supposed to be showing on The Movie Channel, owned by Showtime, as well as Cinemax owned by HBO. When they tuned in, instead of Cromer’s “Appalachain Comedy” film, the channels showed a pornographic movie. Cromer claims the movie listing described his movie and the actors in his movie and not the softcore porno.

Cromer is suing the cable companies for an unspecified amount of damages.

Cromer is a graduate of Clemson University where he was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity
