Porn Valley- Is the Vince Neil trial still on? If so, mark April 22 on your calendars.
According to the last report we had seen, an April 22 trial date has been set in Dayton, Nev., Justice Court for former Motley Crue singer Vince Neil, who is accused of battery on a prostitute at a Nevada brothel. Neil is charged with misdemeanor battery for allegedly grabbing Andrea Terry by the neck and throwing her against a wall at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Mound House on July 10.
According to an Associated Press report, Neil stopped by the brothel after a concert in Reno with Poison and Skid Row. The 42-year-old singer posted $1,000 bail after he was charged. Neil was not arrested and was scheduled to enter a plea before the trial starts, officials said.
A criminal complaint filed July 17 charges Neil used “force and violence” upon Terry, who also goes by the name TrixXxie Blue. Neil’s attorney, Scott Freeman, described Terry as an opportunist. “Celebrities are always targets for this type of behavior,” he told the Reno Gazette-Journal. “If there was ever was an opportunity where someone was being an opportunist, it certainly was this case.”
Terry, 35, now lives in Florida.
Lyon County District Attorney Leon Aberasturi said there are corroborating witnesses on each side.
“It’s likely going to come down to the prostitute’s credibility versus the over-the-hill rock star’s credibility,” he said.
