It’s Official: Vince Goes to Trial

DAYTON, Nev. – Former Motley Crue singer Vince Neil will go to trial April 22 to face a charge of allegedly beating up a prostitute.

Neil is charged with misdemeanor battery for allegedly grabbing Andrea Terry – aka Trixxxie Blue – by the neck and throwing her against a wall at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Mound House on July 10.

Neil stopped by the brothel after a concert in Reno with Poison and Skid Row.

Neil’s attorney, Scott Freeman, tells the Reno Gazette-Journal, “If there ever was an opportunity where someone was being an opportunist, it certainly was this case.”

Terry’s lawyer declined comment.

Lyon County District Attorney Leon Aberasturi says there are corroborating witnesses on both sides. He says, “It’s likely going to come down to the prostitute’s credibility versus the over-the-hill rock star’s credibility.”
