LOS ANGELES CA – Chatsworth, CA based gonzo production company Vouyer Media is pleased to announce that it has received ten 2007 AVN Awards nominations, as well as an AVN Hall Of Fame induction for company Founder and President Vince Vouyer.
Vouyer’s Breakin’ ‘Em In #9 led the pack, receiving nominations for both Best Pro-Am Release, and Best Anal Sex Scene, the latter for a sequence that teamed the veteran performer/director with fan favorite Amy Ried.
Other significant nominations included Best Gonzo Release for the company’s flagship title, The Gauntlet, and Best Interracial Release for Vouyer Media contract performer/filmmaker Jack Napier’s first show for the company, It’s Big, It’s Black, It’s Jack.
Vouyer’s trend-setting work in the burgeoning P.O.V. genre was recognized with noms for both Best P.O.V. Release for 3 On Me POV, and Best P.O.V. Scene for the director’s work with blonde hardbody Cassie Young in How Do You Want Me?
Long known as a director with a penchant for finding new talent, Vouyer also received a Best Pro-Am Release nom for his new girl showcase Who’s That Girl #2, and the diversity of the company’s output was celebrated with nominations for both Best Ethnic Release – Latin for The Whole Enchilada, and Best Specialty Release – Other Genre for the cream pie title Make Me Creamy.
The list of nominations concluded with a Best New Production Company nom in recognition of the overall quality of Vouyer Media’s output to date.
“Taken as a whole, these ten nominations are an honor, especially when one considers that our company began releasing titles only eight months prior to the September 30th deadline for awards consideration,” observes Vouyer Media publicist Daniel Metcalf. “It is especially encouraging to see almost every new series we started recognized for excellence within its respective genre. We continue to be very appreciative to the fans, retailers, and critics for their support.
“Knowing that most of the 6,000 movies AVN reviewed this past year were gonzo titles makes these ten nominations very important to a young company like ours, and we’re very grateful.”
Winners of the 24th annual AVN Awards will be announced January 13, 2007, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. For more information about Vouyer Media, please visit www.vouyermedia.com.
