Sean writes: Gen Padova is once again active in the adult industry after about a five year hiatus. My apologies, but I didn’t realize she was gone.
A press release this week announced the launch of her website, Generizer.com. I always try to review a newly launched site; I guess you could say I like that new car smell.
I like the overall design of her site, but I found the Home page a bit cluttered. The site however is easy to navigate once you step back and absorb all the information.
Her Biography page is very nice and well written. She goes rather in-depth about her start and continued career in the adult industry. She also has a Movie List page chronicling all the productions she has appeared in over her career.
Her Free Pictures page, however, was a dud. I clicked the link and found myself on her Facebook page…which didn’t have any free pictures.
Her Video On Demand link, however, sends you to her HotMovies.com page which allows you several options if you’re interested in purchasing her videos.
I clicked Gen’s Buy My Stuff! link figuring this was her online store. However, in order to gain access I needed a user name and password. She also has a Shop At My Adult Store link that send me over to Gamelink.com. On that site you can pay by the minute to watch her videos.
With a paid membership the site advertises access to her blog, downloadable videos, personal and professional photo galleries and instant streaming video.
She also has a Twitter account for fans to follow her…except you have to click the ‘Follow’ button to send a follow request.
Overall the site is nice, but it could use a little fine-tuning: maybe make sure links go where they're supposed to go and better organize the merchandise sections.
The monthly membership fee to her site is $9.99.
The Alexa Ranking for Generizer.com as of 03/01/2012 is 510,760 [US]
