Wicked Pictures has released the second scene of Seth Gamble’s new series, “Reckless,” titled “What? I Didn’t Kill Anyone!” The eight-episode series, written and directed by Gamble, features him in the lead role.
"Reckless" Series Overview
The series “Reckless” is produced by Axel Braun. Seth Gamble, identified as the twice-crowned and reigning XBIZ Male Performer of the Year, as well as the AVN Male Performer of the Year, wrote and directed the action drama. Gamble also plays the lead role in the series, marking his first lead in one of his own narrative productions. The series is an eight-scene limited series.
The second scene, “What? I Didn’t Kill Anyone!” focuses on Silas Knight, played by Gamble. Silas Knight is described as a racing enthusiast and tech genius. The character, fresh out of prison, aims to straighten out his life and start a legitimate business with his wife, Harlow Knight, played by Ivy Wolfe. Ivy Wolfe is an AVN Best Actress - Featurette winner. The plot involves Silas becoming entangled in a web of greed and betrayal after creating a chip that improves car performance. The narrative questions whether Silas was framed or if he committed the crime.
When a dead body is discovered, all evidence points to Silas, leading to his arrest. Harlow, desperate to clear her husband, seeks help from Avena, played by Kenzie Anne. Avena is Silas’s former lover and the daughter of mobster Dino Moretti, played by Axel Braun. The story also features master mechanic Brooke Michaels, played by AVN Best Leading Actress winner Kenna James, and corrupt detective Matteo Bennett, played by AVN Hall of Fame member Lexington Steele. These characters are depicted as wanting what Silas has.
Gamble's Creative Vision and Cast Performances
Gamble explained that his aim was to take the concept of innocent characters being falsely accused of heinous crimes and add an emotional element to it. He noted that ideas depicted in movies often involve perpetrators manipulating situations through planting evidence, gaslighting, lying to law enforcement, and other strategies. Gamble stated that it is intriguing that such criminal setups occur in real life, where individuals are framed by killers in dramatic scenarios involving affairs, fake evidence, and death wishes that seem like they are from a Hollywood script.
The multifaceted ensemble cast includes Kenna James, Lexington Steele, Nathan Bronson, Tommy Pistol, Ryan Reid, August Skye, Nicole Doshi, and David Lee, among others. Gamble commended Kenzie Anne’s performance as Avena Moretti, expressing a desire to highlight a new aspect of her abilities. He acknowledged her acting abilities and charm, stating that she can effortlessly embody any role. Gamble also noted that Avena’s attractiveness becomes troublesome in this specific situation, as her charisma can be used for manipulative purposes.
Gamble clarified that Liam Nash, Bronson’s character, is a continuation from the previous series “Privilege.” In the story, the main character is about to take over his father’s wealth and business, but his father faces possible imprisonment. The main character’s brother is an untrustworthy gambler who becomes involved with the Moretti family, to whom his younger brother owes money. Bronson expressed excitement about his performance with Kenzie Anne, noting their acting skills and on-screen chemistry. He also expressed gratitude for his character from “Privilege” being included in this film, calling it a significant and impactful project.
