Event Kick-Off and Attendance

The 2024 X3 Expo began on a Friday in Hollywood, California, with fans lining Sunset Boulevard and through Hollywood, stretching several blocks before entering the Hollywood Palladium. The opening day of the 2024 event saw the largest crowd in its history, exceeding the previous year's record by over 50%. The 2025 X3 Expo also saw a wave of excited fans flow into the Hollywood Palladium.

The 2024 event's Day 1 started with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Kira Noir, Natasha Nice, Kendra Sunderland, Charlotte Stokely, and Mary Moody. Photographers were present along Sunset Boulevard. Emma Rose, the reigning XBIZ Trans Performer of the Year, was among the industry figures present and was scheduled to co-host the XBIZ Awards ceremony on Sunday night. Emma Rose stated her excitement for her second time at X3, noting the presence of new fans and performers, and her anticipation to host the awards with Cherie DeVille.

The 2023 X3 Expo, which kicked off on Friday, January 13, also saw massive lines along Sunset Boulevard and around the Hollywood Palladium. Iconic stars Dani Daniels, Maitland Ward, Angela White, Alexis Fawx, Scarlit Scandal, and Kazumi participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Dani Daniels used the jumbo scissors to cut the ribbon after Kazumi's confirmation, marking the grand opening. The venue quickly reached capacity as attendees entered. The 2025 X3 Expo's Day 1 also featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The XBIZ 2025 X3 All-Stars, including Nicole Kitt, Maitland Ward, Elly Clutch, Kazumi, Riley Reid, Vanna Bardot, Melissa Stratton, and Emma Rose, used large scissors to cut the ribbon, officially starting the event.

Exhibitors and Performer Engagements

On the show floor, camming platform Chaturbate occupied the center-front booth at the 2024 X3 Expo. The booth featured streaming stations with software for broadcasters to interact with fans both online and in person. Alex Coal, a Chaturbate broadcaster, creator, and performer, returned to a corner booth. Alex Coal noted the corner booth allowed interaction with both the crowd and her stream. She highlighted the positive atmosphere and the opportunity for fans, many attending an expo for the first time, to meet performers in Los Angeles.

Demi Hawks, a 2024 Best New Performer nominee, took selfies with fans while her Chaturbate stream cheered her on. Millie Morgan, a broadcaster and performer, displayed enthusiasm at the Chaturbate booth, mentioning her enjoyment of streaming there and deepening friendships within the Chaturbate community. Hime Marie, a cammer and performer, chatted with fans, broadcasters, and scene partners, with her stream observing the proceedings. Hime Marie, who has attended conventions and worked at the Chaturbate booth for almost seven years, noted the resources provided by the booth, such as power outlets, plugs, water, food, and snacks. She described X3 as a creator environment with collaborative opportunities. Chaturbate staff assisted broadcasters and offered free merchandise, including branded bathing suits, thongs, unisex t-shirts, sweatpants, and scrunchies. At the 2025 X3 Expo, fans at the Chaturbate booth watched creators broadcast live shows. The final stage event of Day 1 was the Breakout Creators panel, sponsored by ePlay, moderated by Kazumi.
