The X3 Expo, described as the world’s largest creator expo, commenced on Friday, January 13, with record attendance at the historic Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, California. The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, numerous performer appearances, and screenings of new adult content.

Event Opening and Attendance

Massive lines of fans extended along Sunset Boulevard and around the Hollywood Palladium as the X3 Expo began. The venue quickly reached capacity after the grand opening. This year's opening day saw the largest crowd in the event's history, exceeding the previous year's record by over 50%. The 2024 X3 Expo kicked off on Friday, January 20.

The customary ribbon-cutting ceremony featured Dani Daniels, Maitland Ward, Angela White, Alexis Fawx, Scarlit Scandal, and Kazumi. Events director Moe Helmy oversaw the countdown, after which Daniels cut the scarlet X3 Expo ribbon. Other industry figures present included Emma Rose, reigning XBIZ Trans Performer of the Year, who was scheduled to co-host the XBIZ Awards ceremony on Sunday night. Rose noted her excitement for her second X3 appearance, which was "packed with new fans and performers."

Chaturbate, a cam site, served as the centerpiece exhibit, featuring streaming-ready counters staffed by models. Shirley Lara, Chaturbate COO, observed the aisles of the Palladium, stating, “The house is packed. This is an amazing location and we couldn’t be happier with our sponsorship. It’s the truth.” Chaturbate broadcaster Rose Carter interacted with fans at her station. Dani Daniels, after the ribbon cutting, operated her own booth, offering samples of her merchandise, including Doom’s Whiskey, barrel-aged coffee, and aphrodisiac bars. Daniels described her experience as "great," noting a consistent line of customers.

Exhibitors and Panels

The BranditScan booth, colored green and black, provided information on brand protection services. Influencers scheduled to sign at the booth included Ana Foxxx, AstroDomina, and Sofia Rose. Jessica Hookimaw, BranditScan Client Relations Rep, stated the company's aim was to "educate, because piracy is not a very well-known topic among them." BranditScan conducted a cash giveaway on the main stage, where ambassador Sabien DeMonia presented a QR code for attendees to scan for a promotional content scan to check for online piracy. Two winners received $500. Dale Wilson, another Client Relations Rep, noted the high volume of visitors and the opportunity to educate content creators about piracy's effects.

Ana Foxxx signed autographs and posed for pictures at the Model Media booth, which was decorated in dark tones and showcased merchandise from Delphine, Jerkaoke, and POV Adventures imprints. Foxxx expressed enthusiasm for working with Model Media, stating, “I hump people for Model Media! And they give me awesome scripts. It’s really cool to work with a new company and to see them grow and change.”

Elevated X ambassadors Jessica Ryan and Alana Evans were present at a pink-and-white exhibit, discussing their experiences with building and managing official sites through the brand. Ryan stated, “Elevated X has been an amazing platform to join with. Founder AJ Hall and I are very much cut from the same cloth and ever since I’ve partnered up with him to do my website, it’s been like working with family.” Evans, an Adult Performance Artists Guild leader, added, “Elevated X has been absolutely amazing in giving us the opportunity to run our own websites ourselves and I am so excited for the future.” Hall described X3 as "the best show of the year," praising its relaxed atmosphere.

The SexLikeReal booth offered VR adult content experiences, with performer Nathan Bronson guiding visitors. Bronson noted a "bigger turnout than last year." The YourPaysitePartner booth featured logos and talent from partner sites such as AltErotic, Nympho, Swallowed, Gotfilled, PurgatoryX, and VRHush. A recreation of Ricky’s Room, hosted by Ricky Johnson, was a central attraction, featuring performers Jenna Foxx, Gia Derza, Kira Noir, Mona Azar, Ana Foxxx, and Maddy May. Johnson stated, “X3 is super fun! We have 13 girls signing and all the girls are having a good time.” Kenny B. of YourPaySitePartner praised the Ricky’s Room recreation, emphasizing its fan-centric approach.

The Brazzers booth was a focal point, with attendees seeking interaction with stars like Angela White, Kendra Sunderland, Keiran Lee, Jordi ENP, Kylie Rocket, Alexis Fawx, Johnny Sins, Demi Sutra, Kayley Gunner, Joanna Angel, and Scarlit Scandal. Dariusz, an executive at Loyalfans, oversaw their presence, which included a balcony overlook with makeup and hair artists for talent. Dariusz highlighted Loyalfans' support for independent models and its 24/7 support.

NMG, IsMyGirl, and Hotline collaborated on a booth with Instagram-friendly backdrops. Megan Stokes of NMG explained, “We wanted to provide a safe place for the models to do a bunch of SFW social content.” The Stripchat booth featured a glass tank where creators could grab flying token credits. Andra Chirnogeanu, Head of Business Development for Stripchat, expressed gratitude for performers joining and meeting fans.

This year, X3 Expo introduced branded signing booths for agencies. Dave Rock of Motley Models expressed satisfaction with their booth's prominent placement and the foot traffic it generated for models such as Charly Summer, Lily Larimar, Kylie Rocket, Haley Spades, Jewelz Blue, Sarah Taylor, Bella Blu, and Kayley Gunner. Aiden Ashley and Kenzie Taylor were also present at the Motley Models booth. Scarlit Scandal, visiting from the Brazzers booth, described her first X3 Expo as "the best time ever." An ATMLA representative noted the "tremendous fan showing" at their booth, which featured Scarlet Skies, Alison Rey, Liv Revamped, Amari Anne, Leda Lotharia, Eliza Eves, Harley Haze, Kendra Cole, and Natasha Nice.

Stage Events and Screenings

The stage event series began with "Icon" interviews. Siri Dahl interviewed Charlotte Stokely, a former XBIZ Girl/Girl Performer of the Year. Stokely discussed how control over her own sexuality inspired her to enter content creation. Keiran Lee hosted an X3 Icons interview with Dani Daniels, describing her as "the lady that brought back the bush." Daniels, who won XBIZ Female Performer of the Year in 2016, shared career highlights, emphasizing her commitment to performing only acts she enjoyed and her focus on branded products and independent content. Lee also interviewed Kazumi, who described her brand as "multifaceted" and discussed her "insatiable sex drive" and "adoration of promiscuity." Kazumi attributed her success to hosting "meets," which "create a sense of community."

Alexis Fawx hosted a "Breakout Creators" panel featuring XBIZ 2023 "Best New Performer" nominees Scarlet Skies, Haley Spades, and Slimthick Vick, alongside newcomers Maddie Collins, Kitty Cam, Demi Morgan, and Kimmy Kimm. Fawx expressed her enjoyment of her first day at X3 Expo and highlighted cutting the ribbon with fellow Icons and having a billboard in Los Angeles for X3 as personal highlights.

X3 Expo screenings commenced with Wicked Pictures’ "Deranged," directed by Seth Gamble and co-starring Kenzie Taylor and Tommy Pistol. Gamble stated, “We’re trying to step forward and give people something closer to a moviemaking experience.” Pistol discussed crafting his character, Joseph. Taylor noted, “It was my first time getting to do a psychological thriller, and each sex scene goes towards a different niche.” Following "Deranged," Ricky Greenwood introduced his Y2K-set skater drama, "Grinders," starring Lucky Fate, Maya Woulfe, Nathan Bronson, Tommy Pistol, Charlotte Sins, Vanna Bardot, Lilly Bell, and Robby Echo. Greenwood, Fate, Woulfe, Sins, Bell, Pistol, and screenwriter Shawn Alff participated in a Q&A.

Performers at tables below the grand stage included Kenzie Anne, reigning XBIZ Best New Performer, who sold her newest jacket and hoodie drop and Playboy, Penthouse, and Hustler covers. Savannah Bond offered DVDs, signed photos, and her 2023 calendar. Charly Summer sold autographed Polaroids. Lilly Bell's merchandise included prints, Polaroids, DVDs, stickers, and a blow-up sex doll. Kiara Cole signed prints, Polaroids, and DVDs. Marica Hase offered DVDs and noted that newer fans prefer downloads. Maya Woulfe attended the screening of "Grinders." Liv Revamped noted her booth's proximity to the bar and the event's "porn family reunions" atmosphere. Vanna Bardot also enjoyed seeing friends and fans. Evelyn Claire streamed live on Twitch from the YourPaysitePartner booth. Maddy May expressed appreciation for the "community feeling."
