from www.stltoday.com – The former prosecuting attorney for the city of Ballwin has been indicted on child pornography charges, the city confirmed Thursday.
George Richard “Dick” Fox was indicted by a federal grand jury on a felony charge of possession of child pornography August 6 and arrested August 10, according to court records.
The indictment says that between Feb. 26, 2008 and March 24, 2009, Fox had 14 images of a young girl or girls involved in sex acts on his computer.
Ballwin announced Tuesday that Fox, “a long-tenured Prosecutor for the City,” was resigning for personal reasons. He was, until recently also the prosecuting attorney for Clarkson Valley, a back-up municipal judge in Eureka and a private attorney.
On Wednesday, D’Agrosa asked a judge for more time to file pre-trial motions.
Federal prosecutors declined to comment on the case beyond what the indictment alleged.
