LOS ANGELES, CA – In marketing the film of the same name back in the 1980s, Hollywood publicity gurus dubbed 2010 as “The Year We Make Contact.” And now, for Wicked Pictures at least, those very words are proving to be prescient, as the company is kicking off the new year with a stylish promotional campaign that finds one of adult entertainment’s most recognizable brands making contact with Las Vegas’ renowned home for music celebrities and Hollywood stars: The Palms Resort Casino.

And from the Skyvilla to the infamous Rain just off the casino, the Wicked Girls will be blazing brighter than the Vegas skyline as they host a number of high profile events during the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo 2010 January 7th – 10th.

The contract superstars will be in promotional overdrive this Thursday before the convention doors of the Sands Expo Center even open, as Alektra Blue, Kirsten Price and jessica drake will be taking to the KOMP 92.3 FM airwaves (Alektra at 6:00am and Kirsten at 8:45am, with jessica planned to act as a special KOMP correspondent at 2:00pm), while Stormy Daniels will dazzle sports fans on ESPN 1100 at 10:00am.

After a lively afternoon (noon until 2:30pm) spent at the Wicked Pictures booth (#2001) where they’ll be promoting the much talked-about release of the Wicked RealDolls (which will be featured at the RealDoll booth immediately behind Wicked), the ladies will burn rubber to Pole Position Raceway (4175 Arville Street) for a special public appearance to be promoted heavily on KOMP FM. Engines and hearts will be pushed into the red from 5:00pm to 7:00pm as the ladies meet and greet attendees and compete behind the wheel with KOMP radio contest winners.

Once the checkered flags have been lowered, the Wicked crew will set the night on fire at Moon as they host the official red carpet launch party for the Wicked Pictures 2010 Calendar, which was shot entirely in and around the Palms.

Friday morning will see jessica, Stormy, and Kaylani Lei all appearing on KOMP (at 6:00am, 8:00am, and 8:45am respectively) before joining the other girls at Wicked’s AEE booth from noon until 2:30pm. Then the ladies will host a 4:30pm-7:30pm calendar signing at the Lounge inside the Palms. This special event will stream LIVE on www.wicked.com beginning at 5:00pm. The first thousand people attending will receive free calendars, with the first five hundred getting free Wicked bonus DVDs as well. Friday evening will conclude with a private VIP party at the Palms’ Skyvilla.

The high-stakes action will culminate Saturday, when the girls follow their 11:00am-3:00pm AEE duties with appearances at the 2010 AVN Awards, which will be held for the first time at the Palms’ plush Pearl Theater. With nearly one hundred combined nominations to their credit (including many for Brad Armstrong’s 2040), the stars will be involved in nearly every aspect of the show, with Kirsten (and Kayden Kross) hosting the show and jessica hosting the exciting Red Carpet scene with Dave Navarro and Jesse Jane. Once the stage lights go dark, the ladies will hold court at Rain inside the Palms, where they will host a high energy soiree featuring legendary DJ and film composer Paul Oakenfold (Californication, The Bourne Identity, and Speed Racer). Sunday will give fans a final chance to see the girls at AEE beginning at 11:00am.

Joining Wicked’s elite cadre of contract talent during their AEE experience and doing business in their respective spheres of expertise will be several key members of the company’s award-winning executive team, including President And Owner Steve Orenstein, VP Of Special Projects Joy King, VP Of International Sales And Licensing Steven Vlottes, National Sales Manager Bonnie Kail, Chief Technology Officer Avi Bitton and Creative Director Lyle Sinkewich. While the girls are appearing on the show floor and all over town, Wicked will be having sales meetings in a hospitality suite at the Venetian.
