XXX Wasteland Interviews Audrey Bitoni

Adam Wilcox posts at www.xxxwasteland.wordpress.com – Since arriving on the adult entertainment scene in 2006, Audrey Bitoni has emerged as an incredibly popular performer in the XXX world.

The raven-haired starlet has garnered the attention of fans and industry members alike with her striking beauty and energetic on-camera presence in productions for some of the top studios in porn such as Zero Tolerance Entertainment, Brazzers, Digital Playground and Elegant Angel. Additionally, Bitoni graced the cover of the 2008 issue of Penthouse.

Bitoni has most recently been immersed in creating content for her official website, AudreyBitoni.com, now operated by Juliland and featuring numerous artistic and unique photo sets from brilliant erotic photographer Richard Avery.

Audrey kindly spoke with XXX Wasteland to discuss her career in adult, the continued crafting of AudreyBitoni.com and more.

In addition to Audrey’s official website, you can follow her on Twitter at @AudreyBitonix and check out her FreeOnes page here.

Audrey Bitoni is represented by 101 Modeling.

Q: First, I’d like to ask about your work with Juliland.com. I noticed your official website is now run by the company and based around its photography. Can you tell us a little bit about how your partnership with them came about?

Richard Avery and I met six years ago and I fell in love with how artistic and everything he is. I was with a company before that was just the basic, standard porn look and what I liked about Richard is it’s just very artistic and different. So, when I was able to get out of the contract, Richard and I built the site … well, he built it more so.

Q: Yes, I noticed your site has an artistic and unique look and feel to it.

Right. Especially compared to what the normal porn look or style would be.

Q: Yeah. And the photo sets are released as almost their own type of magazine, which I think is pretty cool.

Yeah. When we were building (the site), (Avery) was asking me what kind of design or what kind of feel I wanted and I wanted it to be very fashiony, so it’s the same font as Harper’s Bazaar.

Q: Going back to the beginning, can you tell us how you initially entered the adult industry?

It was very random – like very random. Once I had pictures taken and I had sent them to a couple of the agencies, I literally was shooting that week. So, there wasn’t much time in between once I made the decision to do it. And it was just completely out of the blue; I don’t have any girlfriends that do it, I wasn’t a dancer. It was just one crazy idea. (Laughs)

Q: And because you got into the business so spontaneously, was there any type of culture shock or anything you really weren’t expecting when you entered?

No. I really had no idea what to expect at all and I had seen like one porn (film) before even doing it. (Laughs) So, there wasn’t anything too shocking or different from how I would assume it was done.

Q: Do you have any favorite or standout memories from your career thus far?

I would say building the site with Richard. I wouldn’t be embarrassed to show anybody that. I’m actually proud of it. So, I would say this has definitely been the highlight.

Q: Looking down the road, are there any further aspirations for your career you wish to accomplish?

Well, Richard and I want to expand and do some radio shows and we have a couple of other ideas like that. Just more interaction through my site.

Q: Are there any misconceptions about the adult industry from those outside of it that you wish you could dispel?

No. I mean … I’ve met everybody that’s lived up to the stereotype. I’m not saying we’re all like that, but … yeah. You’d be surprised.

Q: May I ask a few questions about yourself as a person if that’s alright?

Sure. I was raised in Pasadena, California, where I still live. Growing up, I was always … not promiscuous, but it’s not that shocking that I do this. I was always very outgoing and clinging to crazy things. So … (Laughs)

Q: (Laughs) How about interests and hobbies away from work?

I like to scuba dive. I’m very active, so anything outside – I hike, I run a lot. I just started scuba diving and just anything outdoors.

Q: Is there one thing about yourself that you feel would surprise a lot of people?

What a homebody I am – I never, ever go out – ever. (Laughs) Everyone’s pretty shocked by that.

Q: We discussed earlier how heavily involved you have been recently in creating your website, but are there any more current or upcoming projects in the works you would like to put out there?

No, not really. I’m actually kind of taking a hiatus from shooting, so I don’t really have any upcoming things to promote.

Q: To finish up, is there anything you wish to say to readers?

My site just turned into a pay site and we’re going to expand it so much more in time. So, please look out for that.

Q: Terrific. Thank you very much. I appreciate the time; take care.

No problem. Thank you, Adam.
