Porn Valley- Bob from Dane Productions writes: I was reading Gene’s column this morning and was amazed at the way Summer Haze and Rob Spallone were bashed by a lady I shot a few times in the past and who had one of the nicest, sweetest personalities I had ever encountered. She was so sweet and gracious and appreciative of the opportunity to work, even though the scene was outside on a very hot summer day and never complained about anything. Nice and respectful. In fact, a few months back, Ashley [Blue] was on Playboy Radio, and I was driving home, and I hit the on-star button, called the station and spoke to her on the air, commending her for the great job she did for Dane and just letting her know that I was happy for all her success, that she deserved it, and wished her nothing but the best.

So what happened? Did success take away the sweer decent girl I knew at the beginning? I was there Saturday. I saw the ladies who performed. In fact, we hired a few already to shoot for us. I did not see any ugly ladies. There were ladies of all ages who came to do the shoot with Summer. I guess at my age, I see differently. I have learned over the years and in many cases I am 2 two 3 times older than the performers. You meet the same people going up as you do going down. So you better treat them the same way you want to be treated all the time. Every actress has a quality all her own, and I did not see any ugly ones at all.

As far as Rob Spallone goes, I thought he was funny and kept everything moving along well during the festivities. Of course I still get that unseasy feeling when he gets upset, whether it is a put on or not. I have visions of waking up with a horse’s head in my bed. The bottom lines is it’s easy to criticize and make fun of people. Ashley is a beautiful, gifted performer who had the best personality I had seen…in closing I say Ashley Blue, where the hell are you?
