Axel Braun's 'Spideypool XXX' Scene Now Available on Wicked.com

LOS ANGELES – The first scene of "Spideypool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" is now available on Wicked.com, marking the latest superhero spoof from director Axel Braun and Wicked Comix.

New Parody Production

The debut scene of "Spideypool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody" features Gamma exclusive contract performer Seth Gamble in his award-winning role as Deadpool, alongside Kenna James as Mary Jane Watson. This production is Braun’s first parody since he directed "Black Widow XXX" last year. "Black Widow XXX" received the Mark Stone Award for Outstanding Comedy, among other awards.

Axel Braun, who has been head of production for Wicked since 2020 and an exclusive director since 2013, stated that he feels fortunate to work with these characters. He noted that he can create content that mainstream productions cannot, extending beyond just the sexual content. Braun explained that Deadpool is an R-rated character, while Spider-Man is PG-13, and altering either character's rating would alienate their core audiences, preventing a mainstream "Spideypool" film. He added that he can, however, create a parody of it.

In Marvel fandom, "Spideypool" refers to the 'slash' pairing of Wade Wilson (Deadpool) and Peter Parker (Spider-Man). A representative noted that while the relationship between Deadpool and Spider-Man in comic book canon has been contentious, Wade is rarely entirely bad, and Peter consistently tries to see the good in others. These character traits have established a humorous, if improbable, superhero bromance in fan culture, inspiring numerous works of visual art and slash fiction, though never a live-action film until now.

The Marvel AxelVerse Returns

"Spideypool XXX" includes several returning performers from the Marvel AxelVerse. Seth Gamble portrays Deadpool for the fourth time in this production. Braun expressed his admiration for Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool but considers Seth Gamble to be the definitive version of Wade Wilson. Braun stated that Gamble took on the role and transformed it into his own interpretation by studying the comics and quoting specific page numbers.

Gamble, a Best Actor winner, described reprising his role as Deadpool as consistently enjoyable. He noted that this is his fourth opportunity to embody the character and stated that "Spideypool XXX" is the funniest film he has participated in. Kenna James, the reigning AVN Best Leading Actress, described her experience working on "Spideypool XXX" as fulfilling. She found the production to be very funny and praised the cast. James specifically mentioned that her favorite part of the first scene was getting to engage with Deadpool, calling it "essentially the dream." She also commented that Gamble is an excellent scene partner and that this particular scene reached a new level of quality, ranking among the best scenes of her career.
