Sweden- The Stockholm County Administrative Court has ruled that Sweden’s porn king Berth Milton will have to pay 865 million kroner (USD 100 million) in back taxes – an amount he says is purely cobbled together out of thin air. Milton is the boss of the Private Media Group, an adult entertainment empire.

The Local newspaper reports that Milton has called the bill a “fantasy sum” and will appeal the ruling. “The [Stockholm] county administrative court is like the Tax Agency’s right hand and so far we’ve won everything in the administrative court of appeal,” said Milton.

Milton feels he is being targeted simply because of the kind of business he operates. “If I sold refrigerators, none of this would have happened. It’s only because I’m involved with pornography,” he said to The Local. “They can’t handle that I manage a pornography company in a legal manner.”

The Tax Office’s investigations into Milton’s taxes have been dragging on for nearly a decade. The court contends he earned unreported income of around 1.35 billion kroner between 1996 and 1999, and they want to get paid.

Berth Milton, who took over the family porn business from his father in 1990, currently publishes four magazines, and has websites, DVDs and other media based around pornography.
