However, I’m here to state my dissent regarding the irritating trend of young, cracked out, haglike teens who make it into this business simply based on their birthdate and their inexperience in the industry.

This is the only business where your potential employer actually considers it a plus if you have no idea what you’re doing. Girls who have never done a lick of pornography work in their lives actually get paid MORE than a girl who knows how to work the angles with her body and play to the camera. To top it all off, it doesn’t seem as if producers care what their talent looks like anymore; just so long as they’re close to the magical age of 18. Even a 22 year old — still quite young by any standard — who is stunningly attractive will get passed over for a strung out, meth addicted, crackwhore whose birth year is the same year that Britney Spears came out with “Hit Me Baby, One More Time”.

Over and over again, I see them come through the agency doors and I watch, mouth agape and eyes bulging, as they get job after job… toothless grins, ribs sticking out, concave chests, rat nest hair, flat faces, awkward legs, shapeless asses, and homely faces. Seriously, there should be drug testing in porn.

I appreciate the sentiment of teen oriented porn, and the fact that they accepted me into the biz and made a star out of an everyday, hardcore teen like me, even with my tattoos and white skin, is appreciated… however, the problem comes in when there are so many of these unattractive, though young, girls in movies that the truly attractive girls are almost completely overlooked. I’d like to see a company screen their talent for looks first, then check their performance by having them do a solo shoot. If they’re ugly or just dead in the sack, let ’em loose. It’s the Catch and Make a Good Quality New Release Program. Don’t just book these girls because they’re 18 — let’s try to act like we care about the quality of our product, just for a moment. I love young girls as much as the next guy, but I gotta tell you… I love HOT girls even more.
