All I’m sayin’ is that it’s possible to write about Major League Baseball and never seen a baseball game.

New York Joe LaBarbera [pictured] and Rebecca Bardoux who’s featured Friday nights on Blog Talk Radio have been having their say about Aurora Snow who came out in favor of “Yes” on Measure B. www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=56242

Snow has been invited to come on the show to have her say.

Last week’s show continued to set the tone. LaBarbera commented on my AdultFYI article saying it was really written well and “was so truthful” in what he and Bardoux had said.

“There will always be critics either in print, television, radio, podcast, Internet and I sure got a fucking lot of critics going after me,” LaBarbera chuckled.

“There’s people not even talking to me any more. But it’s alright because what I said was absolutely true and what you [Bardoux] had said was absolutely true. And what the reporter from AdultFYI said was absolutely true.”

Bardoux also mentioned that she had been a participant in the debate between James Lee and Michael Weinstein. www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=56313

“It was a good debate and the first time I ever debated. I’m more used to an interview-type of thing. Now I got my first debate under my belt- watch out.”

During the course of that debate Bardoux mentioned her personal life and LaBarbera felt the condom issue doesn’t have anything to do with your personal life.

“I will go out into the realms of Miss Aurora Snow who said in her personal life she wants guys to wear condoms. This has nothing to do with your personal life.”

Bardoux added unless you happen to be Derrick Burts then it does matter.

“He said he knows he contracted HIV on a porn set- that’s when you have to bring in your personal life when you’re trying to blame the industry for your infection,” Bardoux explained.

On that topic, LaBarbera said he remembers when Aurora Snow [he keeps referring to her as “Miss”] said to him in a Tweet: ‘Every job has a work hazard; you know that STDs are work hazards.’

Bardoux said when she got into the business she accepted the fact that these are the things that can possibly happen.

“It’s funny she comes out with this because she’s done 600 scenes and I would say that 599 of them are bareback, no doubt about it,” LaBarbera added.

From what she learned on the KCRW [which aired the debate] comment board, Bardoux said Snow has also directed many scenes. [For which she was under contract to Sin City at one time.]

“And none of the performers were using condoms.”

LaBarbera noted that Snow has been busy feature dancing which prompted this snipe from Bardoux:

“Making money off the name that she made doing adult movies. The adult industry allowed her to come into this industry and make adult movies and become famous so she could go out on the road and dance and this is the thanks we get from her.”

Although he’s had a good relationship over the years with Snow, LaBarbera said he really disagrees with the fact “that a girl who’s done so many scenes bareback just comes out with the fact that we need to have condoms in the scene.”

Then on this Friday’s show LaBarbera offered the opinion that 99% of the performers have come out against Measure B with Snow being in the lone minority.

“She’s made so much money from this industry but now she says we got to have guys wearing condoms.”

Bardoux, who’s only about four years behind on the gossip, said she read this week that Snow’s “boyfriend” writes for The Daily Beast. That would be Richard Abowitz. www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=29392

“I know a little bit about that girl,” said LaBarbera, “because when I get involved in it, it gets published on AdultFYI and everyone comes after me.”

“Actually the person you’re talking about does write for The Daily Beast, but he’s not really her boyfriend. I would say, as she’s always said, her best friend. It’s not really her best friend.”

“So it’s just best friends or best friends with benefits?” Bardoux asked.

“I would say it’s best friends,” replied LaBarbera.

“This person claims never to drink and has never seen a porn movie.”

Bardoux confirmed that she saw that as well on Twitter that Abowitz has never seen a porn movie.

“I know the name but I don’t want to mention his name here,” LaBarbera added.

“I know him- kinda like decent; actually he’s not a romantic partner. Let’s put it that way.”
