Porn Valley- It’s not Dick Clark, and it’s not Carson Daly. But Don Hollywood swings a pretty mean New Year’s Eve pole as well.
In fact Hollywood and co-hort Savanna Jane are hosting a New Year’s Eve party at Hollywood’s house, and he’s extending an invite for those who wish to RSVP him at his cell number.
“It’s a party for those who don’t want to blow a lot of dough and be out on the streets,” says Hollywood. “It’s BYOB, bring something to snack on and just hang out. We’re thinking around 9:30 on. We’ve got the pool [heated], the hot tub and games. So just come and hang out.”
When Hollywood laughed about spending more time being a lawyer, I had to ask him what was going on with Brian Kissinger, aka Plus One, Cytherea’s ex. www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=23549
Brian’s doing time in jail, and Hollywood was in the middle of that case considering how Brian had stolen items from Hollywood’s house when he was a guest there for a spell.
“It’s pending trial- they offered him four years state prison based on his prior record,” says Hollywood. “Sometime around Thanksgiving was the last appearance. At that time Brian told the court that he wanted to retain private counsel and pass on further services of the public defenders office. He was given one further continuance- I don’t remember the exact date. So either they settled it and he took his four years or settled it with something else.”
In another case, Hollywood had been repping Mickey G. who allegedly threw battery acid in a guy’s face.
“I almost called you on that when his girlfriend [Roxetta] put in her two cents,” says Hollywood. “I was retained to represent Mickey only through the preliminary hearings. I really thought the case was going to go away because several times the case was set and the D.A, had problems getting their wirnesses, to wit, the girlfriend and the victim. Ultimately they were able to get it together and get the two of them in there.”
“The girlfriend on cross exam told the story at least a half dozen different ways,” continues Hollywood. “Which was different than the way she told it on direct examination. However the guy shows up with this hideous injury to his eye and is virtually blind in that one eye. He tells a very consistent story of what happened. That was fairly devastating to Mickey’s position. There was at best some dissension in the family, and I don’t honestly know who they went with for trial counsel. And the next thing I know Mickey cut a deal he could have cut way earlier.”
“The problem is they added a count of mayhem,” Hollywood adds. “In the law that is difiguring someone and this guy was disfigured. And the mayhem count was the real serious count. I don’t know what happened after the prelim.”
