DETROIT — A lawyer for a man charged with running an international prostitution ring is asking a Detroit federal judge to grant access to a list of thousands of clients.
Prosecutors say they’re willing to share names but they want certain information redacted. They say they’re trying to prevent men from being harassed by defense lawyer Paul DeCailly.
DeCailly says he’s not interested in embarrassing anyone. Federal Judge Arthur Tarnow has scheduled a hearing for Friday.
Greg Carr [pictured] is a south Florida man charged with conspiring to commit crimes related to prostitution. The government says his business Miami Companions set up trysts in many large cities, especially the Detroit area, and Mexico, Colombia and Costa Rica.
