Robin Leach writes on www.lasvegasweekly.com – Pint-sized porn powerhouse Jesse Jane says she has two more years of sexual shenanigans before she’s voted into its Hall of Fame, and then she’ll retire.

In the meantime, she’s already begun to change gears. “I’ve got eight years into it so far. We have to be in for 10 for the Hall of Fame. Next month, I’m launching my own tequila, so I’m hoping that’s fully up and running, and I’m going to write the tell-all book,” Jesse told me in an exclusive interview at the Adult Entertainment Expo at the Sands Expo and Convention Center at The Venetian.

Jesse, who I knew long ago as a winning Miss Hawaii Tropic model before she decided on an adult entertainment career, was nominated for numerous awards for her new flick Body Heat. This year, she’s already filmed Top Guns for next year’s convention. She told me: “This year, I’m actually busy with something else. I am launching my own tequila company.

“Dioso Tequila. I’ll be back in Las Vegas on March 7 for three days for the biggest Nightclub and Bar convention. It’s going crazy! I have everybody wanting it already, and it’s not even going to launch until March. I’m working on a whole different aspect of things. In two years, hopefully the tequila is completely launched. I don’t even think it’s going to take that long, and I’m finally going to write a book.

“It will be about me and my life. A lot of people who talk about this industry say ‘poor me’ or ‘I hate sex’ or ‘I did drugs.” Mine will be completely different because it will be about my double life. Everybody thinks they know me as this big porn star, but I’m actually a soccer mom. Also a baseball mom and just a regular mom at home. So it’s going to be Jesse Jane: My Double Life.

Jesse has one son, an 11-year-old, and also cares for her nephew and niece. “That makes three,” she laughed. “Before when he was younger and when people came up to me and called me Jesse, I could get away with saying, ‘Oh, I must look like this girl named Jesse.’ Obviously at 11, he’s not stupid. But when I signed autographs and took photos with fans at an amusement park, my son kept asking me like a broken record why everybody called me Jesse.

“So he knows that I do Playboy and Playboy TV because I wasn’t lying, but he’s still too young to know completely about porn. He knows momma gets naked for a living, and I was like are you upset?

And he goes, “Do you know Kendra (Wilkinson)?” were the first words out of his mouth. Do you know Kendra! I was like, yes, I know her, you want to see pictures with her? And he thought I was the coolest Mom ever.

“I’ll be out of the business by the time he’s old enough to understand it. It was another life, another time. I’m not embarrassed about it. I have the lifestyle and he has the lifestyle he has because of this, so I don’t think he’d be upset because we’re very close.”

I asked her if she’d also talk about making the unusual jump from Hawaiian Tropic modeling to the porn industry. She told me: “Absolutely. It will be everything — a whole bunch of different things. Now I’m adding the tequila business, and I have some mainstream projects coming out, including an Adam Sandler movie and Born to Be a Star. I have a lot of good things going on right now. I’ve been kind of overwhelmed by it all a little bit.”
