I really hate talking about porn.

I have other aspirations beyond talking about people in this business. Mike South, Peter Acworth, Free Speech Coalition, APAC, etc. Who fucking cares? Is it gonna get me a talk show or a reality show with a mainstream company like A&E? But this is AdultFYI, a porn blog. It’s not the New York Times, it’s not Rolling Stone, it’s something that 4,000-5,000 people will read about people nobody really gives a fuck about.

This is equivalent to an actor waiting tables until he gets his big break. Ugh… it disgusts me. If I could be a comedy writer and sit in a room with other writers and come up with funny bits and barely survive doing it, I would do it in a heartbeat. That’s how much I hate talking about the idiots in this business.

At the end of the day, a very small group of people give a shit about all of this. If it were something people cared about, our business wouldn’t be in the state that it’s in. We would all be rolling in dough. Think about it. If people in porn were such scary talent and the girls were such beauties, they would be real models. If the actors, actresses and directors in this business were so talented, they would be making mainstream movies. Hollywood would put them in big productions so they could capitalize on their millions of porn fans. But Hollywood isn’t calling. Nobody fucking cares.

But for few of you who do, here goes.

AVN just put out a press release about Wicked and their Nightmoves nominations. It’s obvious that the people at Wicked/Manwin watch the show and/or read AdultFYI. Whenever I talk about Wicked, within a day or two AVN posts a press release.

So lo and behold, AVN puts out a press release about Wicked’s Nightmoves nominations. The Nightmoves Awards are being held October 22nd. A press release about a show nobody gives a shit about three months before the event takes place. Wicked got a bunch of nominations. Yay for them.

Here’s how I know that this is a direct rebuttal to an article we recently wrote. www.adultfyi.com/read.php?ID=60435

When asked for a quote, it states “Wicked Pictures President and Owner Steve Orenstein…” I’ve been saying Steve Orenstein doesn’t own Wicked anymore. Manwin owns Wicked. We went into a whole thing about how it’s like the Digital Playground acquisition. AVN/Manwin are putting out a press release three months before an awards show because it was the only way to refute what we’ve been talking about without mentioning us by name.

The article specifically mentions Stormy Daniels, who I said isn’t at Wicked anymore. Her contract is up, but nobody talks about it because where else is this old broad gonna go?

“Over half of the nominations went to veteran contract performer, writer and filmmaker Stormy Daniels and four-time consecutive AVN Director of the Year Axel Braun. Ms. Daniels’ fine work in front of the camera was recognized in the Best Female Performer category, while the overall excellence of her output as a filmmaker earned a Best Director (Features) nomination. Specific Best Feature Production nominations went to her lighthearted couples picture Switch and her brooding erotic thriller Crime of Passion. Her enduring popularity as a live performer was recognized with a Best Feature Dancer (Adult Performer) nomination.”

So they wanted to make sure to tell everyone that Stormy Daniels is still with Wicked and very much a part of them.

What’s funny is then they put over Axel Braun:

“Master parody creator Braun’s five nominations included acknowledgement in the Best Director (Parody) category, while individual Best Parody nominations went to his AAAAA AVN Editor’s Choice 24 XXX: An Axel Braun Parody and his first production for the new Wicked Fairy Tales line, the AVN and NightMoves Editor’s Choice Snow White XXX: An Axel Braun Parody. His skill in creating high-energy all-sex content was rewarded with a Best All-Sex Release nomination for Riley Goes Gonzo (starring Axel Braun Productions contract star Riley Steele) while I Fucked My Stepmom earned recognition in the Best Cougar/MILF Release category.”

Then here’s what they wrote for the two on their way out:

“The continuing high quality of creator Brad Armstrong’s work for Wicked was championed with an overall nomination for Best Director (Features), while his thrice award-winning feature Underworld was honored with a Best Feature Production nomination.” 

“Writer, performer, director, emerging sexual wellness authority and Underworld star Jessica Drake was similarly recognized, with her AVN award-winning educational line Jessica Drake’s Guide to Wicked Sex earning a Best On-Going Series nomination.”

They’re talking about Underworld. This fucking movie came out LAST year. Come October 22, it will have been out almost two years. Why are they still talking about it? Because it’s the only thing Brad Armstrong has done. Axel Braun has done Snow White, Riley Goes Gonzo, 24 XXX, I Fucked My Stepmom… Brad Armstrong? Underworld. They’re celebrating a movie that already got its awards last year.

I get it. You’re trying to make a story to combat everything that Rob Black’s been saying. I get it. “Steve Orenstein, the President and Owner of Wicked, Brad Armstrong, director of Underworld, Jessica Drake, Stormy Daniels…”

They talk about Asa Akira and Samantha Saint, another two on the way out. They’re done. Axel is putting Samantha Saint in movies because she owes them on her contract, just like Jessica Drake. Wicked as you know it is done. This is just like the Digital Playground scenario. Manwin is tying up loose ends and people are on their way out.

Brad Armstrong will not be with Wicked in 2015. Neither will Jessica Drake. Asa Akira, Samantha Saint, Stormy Daniels, they’re all gone. Done.

Axel Braun, my butt buddy. He is running the entire Wicked/Manwin operation. Plain and simple. Mark my words, you’re gonna see Samantha Saint in a bunch of upcoming Axel Braun movies for scenes that she owes Wicked. Watch. You can take it to the bank.
