from www.examiner.com – Hugh Hefner has reportedly stated he won’t offer Casey Anthony the opportunity to pose nude in Playboy, but that hasn’t deterred Larry Flynt of “Hustler” from making an offer.

According to reports by HLN’s Jean Casarez, Larry Flynt made the offer to Casey Anthony on July 28, 2011. Flynt made an appearance on the HLN show “Nancy Grace” where he spoke to Casarez about the offer.

Flynt refused to comment regarding whether he approached Casey Anthony for the pictorial spread or if her people approached him, but he did make some statements that differed from Hugh Hefner’s regarding demand to see a nude Casey Anthony.

On July 14, 2011, Hugh Hefner spoke with CNN’s Piers Morgan regarding putting Casey in Playboy. He stated, “It is amazing the number of people that have Tweeted me immediately afterward, asking whether or not we would do a pictorial on her. And the answer is simply no. I wouldn’t reward someone like that for what has happened.”

Larry Flynt made a different argument regarding putting Casey in Hustler. He stated, “Right after the verdict I was asked if I wanted to something and I felt like a lot of Americans did, even though I didn’t necessarily agree with the verdict. I thought she might have been responsible for the death of a child and I just felt that people wouldn’t necessarily want to see her with her clothes on or off. So, I kind of forgot about the idea.

But I just recently got off a book tour where dozens of people would come up to me in Philadelphia, Austin, Houston and they would say, ‘Why don’t you make an offer to Casey Anthony, and why don’t you want to pose her pictures?’ He continued, “And many of them came up and actually would say things like, ‘Look, she’s a really attractive person. You don’t realize it because she’s been in jail, in the courtroom, the clothes she’s been wearing. A great hairstylist and makeup artist could have her looking really fabulous.’

Flynt then described how he’s never been one to shy away from controversy and discussed how in 1975 he published nude photos of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis when other magazines wouldn’t. He revealed that he made more than $20 million off those photos. Flynt proceeded to describe the financial offer he has made to Casey through her attorneys.

“Now, the offer that we made to Casey through her attorneys, the half million dollar payment is only part of it.”

Flynt also said they are willing to pay 10% of the profits to Casey Anthony which could mean she would make more off of a spread in “Hustler” than she would with her first interview.

Flynt then gave this word of advice to Anthony’s attorneys, “If they want to make money they need to go through me; anything else will be chicken feed.”
