from www.wkyc.com - A former science teacher at Olmsted Falls High School has been indicted on charges of having sex with a student, according to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's office.

Kristin Ostmann, 25, of Medina, was indicted Monday by a Cuyahoga County Grand Jury on four counts of sexual battery.

The male student was an 18-year-old senior at Olmsted Falls High School.

Ostmann submitted a letter of resignation on April 13 when the school district and Olmsted Township Police began investgating allegations of an "improper relationship" with the student.

The allegations had surfaced on April 8 when the parent of another student contacted the school district.

Ostmann, who was in her first year of teaching at Olmsted Falls High School, will be arraigned on the charges on Friday, May 13.
