“We raised a great deal of money for Nicki Hunter on Tuesday night at Porn Star Karaoke,” announced Sechrest, www.jasoncurious.com. “She is battling lymphoblastic leukemia lymphoma and she is not happy about it. No one is. She is battling it and battling it hard. And I’m really proud of us and the straight porn community for coming forward and putting their money where their mouth is. We always say it’s a family here in the adult entertainment industry and that we look after each other.

“Even though I don’t remember anybody coming to Ginger Lynn’s aid when she had cancer,” Sechrest continued. “I’m really proud of us. I’m really glad for Nicki- I think that’s wonderful. Ginger Lynn was on her own a few year’s back and no one was helping her out. She had to go back to shooting for VCA with a wig on. That’s right. And how about her little boy? Her little boy had to have an operation, too. And no one’s helping her out. Certainly not Steve Hirsch. It’s not like he’s the father of her child…

“Can we do a separate fund raiser?” Sechrest asked aloud. “Isn’t she still in the hole for all that? The cool thing is that she auctioned herself off. She auctioned off a date with herself for Nicki Hunter. I just thought that was really cool of her considering that no one came to her aid.”
