New York- Last month in a phone interview with Howard Stern, Jenna Jamseon relayed info about a sexcapade she shared with TV personality Jillian Barberie http://adultfyi.com/read.aspx?ID=5429.
Today Stern learned that Barberie had been fired from her TV gig and wanted the skinny. Barberie, of course, was also asked for her version of the Jameson story. Barberie also confirmed the fact that she was fired. "I wish I knew," she said then went off on some tangent. "It was one of those things where the guys who put the show on the air- I think you know Bob Cook and Rob Dalton- they put it on the air three years ago, They said, locally, you guys do pretty good. By the way, the whole local vs. national anchorman thing? There's no way Steve Edwards makes more than Dan Rather. Local guys make less. You're wrong about that. I've been in local news my entire life, trust me." Stern disagreed with Barberie. "They just tell you that...Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, all those anchor drones make more money."
Reeling Barberie back in, Stern noted that Barberie had been doing the local Los Angeles version of Good Day for ten years. "We did the national-thing for three years." Asked if they got good ratings, Barberie said 1.6 is not a good rating. Barberie said she was always arguing with the producers and vice versa. "I had ideas they didn't like." Stern assumed that they were making Barberie the fall guy.
"Once they canned me the ratings went down," Barberie pointed out claiming that her agents were going in stating that's not where she wanted to be. "Before they had a chance to say it, I got fired. It's like going to break up with a boyfriend and he breaks up with you first."
Landing a left-handed compliment, Stern said it was surprising because Barberie had been "happening for awhile". Stern said he thought Barberie was some kind of big star. Barberie said she worked hard. "But you know how this business is." Barberie felt that the show was never going to be about her but now has a spot on The Best Damned Sports Show.
Asked what she did there, Barberie got vague saying she just started. "They were going to do a segment called The Best Damn Styles." Barberie also lent the impression it was about men's fashion styles in the office, etc. Stern asked if she still did Fox football. Barberie, in what was beginning to sound like the Who's on First routine, said she was still doing the local version of Good Day. Barberie said it gets awkward when she has to leave for the national version. "Whatever." Barberie was asked if the rumors were true about her doing Playboy.
"I think I'm going to," she answered. Stern asked if that was a desperation move. Barberie didn't think so pointing to the fact that when Shannon Dougherty did Playboy, Barberie was wearing less for an FHM spread. "My son said to me you're a moron because you don't get paid for FHM and she gets paid for Playboy. It's true."
Stern asked if Barberie would get at least half a million. "I hope so," she said. Again Barberie was with the probablies when pinned down for a date. "Early next year?" she said, noting that Denise Richards was slated for December.
Stern said he heard Barberie was "doing" Jenna Jameson. "We had some girly-fun," Barberie explained. "What is doing?" Stern said he got the impression from Jameson that Barberie was doing her.
"You were totally taken with her. Like you wanted to do more and were going to get together with her." Barberie kept insisting that she and Jameson had fun. "It was one of those things. We were at an awards show. I love Jenna's movies. I watch them all the time. Her publicist came over and said Jenna wants to meet you. We went to a club which is like a burlesque club. Jenna's fun."
While Barberie continued to ramble, Stern kept asking if she saw Jameson in The Masseuse. Stern made note that Barberie never listens to a question. Barberie said that was because she couldn't hear them with Barberie finally stating that she watched the movie and was turned on by it. "Of course! She's hot!"
Asked what Jameson was wearing when they met, Barberie remembered it as being jeans and a low cut top. For her part, Barberie said she was wearing a dress because she was presenting that evening. Barberie further explained that a couple of male friends from Canada went along with her to the strip club. "They were thrilled. This is awesome. We're going to party with Jenna Jameson." But Barberie said they got so drunk, they missed the make out session. Stern wondered how the make out session got started. "Were you drinking?"
According to Barberie, Jameson wanted to go on stage to dance. Barberie said she didn't know about that and Jameson said let's go. Barberie said she and Jameson then went on stage with dancers already there. "They don't take everything off." Barberie said Owen Wilson's girlfriend was dancing so he was there along with Vince Vaughn. "It was like a whole big scene."
When asked if she, herself, took anything off, Barberie said, "Good God, no." Neither did Jameson but Barberie kept alluding to "having some girl fun." Barberie said the VIP section got so cramped that she and Jameson had no choice but to share one chair. "People were sitting on each other's laps." It was then that Jameson started to kiss her, according to Barberie. Barberie said there was some tongue action going and admitted that she felt up Jameson's boobs, but the action was over the clothes and not under them. "I never felt fake boobs before."
Stern asked if there was any action going down below. Barberie said no and if there were, Jenna would have talked about it on the show. "Why would she lie about that?" Barberie said she's open to stuff but doesn't know if she was ready to take it to the next level. "She [Jameson] did call after she was on your show- I hope you don't mind."
Barberie mentioned that when Jameson was in town, Barberie's schedule didn't permit them getting together. "I'm not all talk and no action." Stern was making a case for Jameson being with so many people that her lips might be diseased. "I'm about the guy," said Barberie, laughing. "I want to have a boyfriend." Barberie, however, admitted to being aroused. "It was kind of surreal," she said. Stern kept asking Barberie if her underwear was erect during the moment. Barberie said no but it was fun, nonetheless.
One caller-in suggested that Stern get Barberie off the air because she's annoying. "She never shuts up. She's hot but she's so annoying."
