Porn Valley- I meet with Kevin Rubio Monday morning. Rubio had e-mailed me in light of some of the stuff Skeeter Kerkove’s been saying about him. And Rubio wanted a meeting at Jerry’s Deli. He walks in with a suitcase. Rubio looks like he’s going on an overnight trip but in the suitcase are documents pertinent to Rubio’s lawsuit with Skeeter as well as payroll records and shooting schedules.

When I first e-mailed Rubio to ask him to comment about Skeeter’s sexual harassment charges against him, Rubio said he had to laugh, thinking it was all a big joke. Then he read the story. Still and all, Rubio says he won’t come in contact with my elbow just to be on the safe side.

Before we get too far with this conversation, Rubio makes it clear that any talk about his lawsuit with Skeeter must necessarily exclude mention of the company that has Rubio’s scene. Fair enough. But Rubio concedes that it would never have occurred to him to file a suit if not for the fact that Skeeter opened his own mouth months ago and begged the question. Rubio also says this suit would never have happened if Skeeter had just returned a phone call and they could have talked things out.
