from – www.wchl1360.com – Larry Flynt, multimillionaire pornographer, will be the keynote speaker at an upcoming UNC event.

The Hustler publisher will deliver the keynote address at the university’s eighth annual First Amendment Law Review Symposium. This year’s symposium is entitled “Sexually Explicit Speech and the First Amendment.”

The symposium comes on the heels of a decision in the Fox v. FCC U.S. Supreme Court case, where the high court ruled that so-called “fleeting expletives” are not protected speech. The two-day event will feature several panel discussions.

Admission is free for all events except Flynt’s speech, which will cost $20 for the general public, with a half-price reduction for students from other schools and senior citizens. Members of the UNC community get in free. The symposium will take place February 18 and 19.
