CANOGA PARK, Calif. — Acclaimed performer Lexington Steele and his
company, Mercenary Pictures, added four Urban Spice Award trophies to
his international collection of accolades.
Steele won Crossover Male and Visionary at the Urban Spice Awards’
inaugural show on June 8 at Platinum Live in Studio City, Calif.
Mercenary Pictures’ “Lex on Blondes 4” was also named Best Interracial
Release and “Black Moon Risin’ 6” was the award show’s Best Pro-Am
Release.
“The Urban Spice Awards were voted on by the fans, and it’s wins like
these that mean a lot to myself and everyone at Mercenary Pictures,”
Steele said. “It’s great to know the fans enjoyed the interracial
action in ‘Lex on Blondes 6’ as well as the ethnic amateurs Tina Tyler
brings together in ‘Black Moon Risin’ 6.’ They also recognized my
strides to bridge the gulf between mainstream and adult by awarding me
with the Crossover Male award and they understand the increasing role
of ethnic and interracial in adult entertainment with my Visionary
award.”
The Urban Spice Award wins are the latest for Mercenary Pictures and
Lexington Steele. The company has been singled out for its high
quality all-sex movies and Steele is a consistent favorite for his
performances and skill as a director.
