Matt Zane Talks About His Ban from AVN

Porn Valley- Matt Zane was a guest of Tim Case and Felicia Fox on their KSEX Lust for Life show Tuesday night. Zane talked at length about how he has been called a “loser” by AVN’s publisher Paul Fishbein and how the magazine has deleted all references to him in their archives. “They went back in time and did a revisionist type of movement on me to eradicate my existence.

“They won’t let my name anywhere near their magazines, their websites or anything, Zane added. Case noted that Zane was in the January issue of Metal Hammer magazine which featured a big rock-porn connection story. “Internationally distributed. It’s huge.” Zane said it’s the biggest rock mag in Europe but AVN chose to ignore Zane’s interview which included pix of Felicia Fox and Tabetha Stevens. “When we tried to get the press release on AVN, they completely ignored it,” Case said and was curious why.

Zane: “Maybe Paul Fishbein is a Christian and he has problems with the fact that I sold my soul to the devil for rock n’ roll. I don’t know. But he’s been quoted as saying I’m the biggest fuckin’ loser in the world. This is really odd coming from a guy that I’ve never said anything about AVN. I’ve always been very supportive of what they’ve done.”

Zane saw a recent issue of AVN that included Rob Black. “He used to purposely go against AVN. As of now they’re even letting Rob Black in AVN, but I’m considered the complete adversary- the epitome of evil, that I’m not allowed anywhere near the magazine or the websites.” Zane, who stays away from porn events now, mentioned another instance at Erotica LA where someone from AVN requested to take pictures.’ “I said there’s no point to it- you’re not going to run it. He goes I don’t know anything about that.” Zane said, sure enough, none of the pictures were run.

Zane said KSEX was one of the few places where he seemed to be welcome back. “It’s a rarity in my life. As I get older, there’s less and less places that let me in.” Surprisingly, Zane noted that there were certain cities and clubs where that was actually a fact. Zane who was on along with Jon Finberg, Zane’s “booking agent extraordinaire” said the House of Blues in Los Angeles was one of them, along with Battle Creek, Michigan. According to Zane things got out of hand when they were filming for VH-1. “We were throwing lunch meat, but it got a little raunchy onstage. They told us in advance no nudity, no simulated sex.”

Zane said six or seven girls were involved who got naked and were going crazy. It was explained that the action somehow played on the restaurant’s monitors. “People were having dinner and they didn’t shut the monitors off. These girls were getting spanked and people getting whipped. It was like Sodom and Gomorrah up on the stage. All of a sudden everybody starts dropping their food, their knives and their forks.” Zane said he’s afraid to go back. “I’m afraid they’re going to have a picture of me at the door- don’t let this guy in.”

Zane was also on the show to promote a free show scheduled for March 11 at The Key Club. Zane said an invite was being extended to the entire adult industry. “It’s the largest evening of entertainment that combines everything from suspension to music to bondage to sadomasochism and porn, all in one evening under one roof. It’s a free show and it’s going to be absolutely insane.” KSEX is the official sponsor of the show and Wankus will serve as host along with Layla Jade. Zane also said every girl in the adult industry is being invited to be on the guest list at the club’s Plush Room. “There’s going to be a special room in the basement where KSEX is going to be broadcasting live. Everybody’s going to be able to come down there- only if you’re only on the guest list. Zane suggested to get on the guest list by going to [email protected]

Zane said guys in the industry will also be admitted to the Plush Room provided they bring two girls minimum with them. Zane also noted with certainty that AVN wouldn’t be announcing the event. Zane credited Finberg for getting the Key Club involved. “Without him this wouldn’t be happening.”

During the course of the evening, Zane explained there’d be things like wet t-shirt, blowjob and kissing contests and that he’d be suspended with six meat hooks pierced through his back. “I’m going to be suspended about ten feet above the stage.” Zane said he was the first singer ever who attempted a suspension for a video and that he’d be singing while suspended at the Key Club. “This has never been done- ever. Nobody’s ever tried to do this before.” At the end of the set Zane will also grab someone and hoist them off the stage while he’s still suspended. Ugh. Zane said he was looking for some girl between 85 and 90 pounds and that they could e-mail [email protected]

Joey Strange, as well, will be on hand for doing “all these crazy suspension ceremonies,” Zane added.

Zane is inclined to say that he has fans that extend beyond the adult industry, that he was on tour for eight months last year and has been all over the place. Pressed for a story about groupies, Zane related an instance where the last day of the tour, he got a call from the promoter in Chicago. “He says my parking lot smells like a fish market. I said what do you mean? I went outside this morning to clean it and there was 150-200 used and unused rubbers.” According to the promoter there was a line of girls 20 and 30 deep going in and outside of a van for sex. “It was a festival.” Zane said he was releasing a DVD of the tour so people could see he wasn’t lying about such groupie stories. But Zane was also quick to point out that the majority of their shows found them opening for larger acts. Zane said the DVD will be available in stores like Tower Records. Their last release is titled Exit Through Fear.

Earlier in the evening Fox had a few things to say about a Cash Markman shoot she was on earlier in the day. Case et the table. “Which will remain nameless,” said Case. “You were working with a guy who will remain nameless. A guy you worked with in the past. It was a condom scene, and he had wood problems.” Fox said the scene started out where he was rubbing the boob on a statue. “I came in. I grabbed a hold of him and threw him on the bed,” said Fox. Fox said she was rough housing the guy, claiming that’s what he wanted. “Then we went into more of the passionate kissing and caressing,” she said. Case noted that the guy started by going down of Fox. Fox said he wasn’t hard at that point. Case said if he was going down on a chick, he’d get a boner. “That and kissing.”

Then when Fox went down on him, the guy had wood. “That’s actually how I kept him through the remainder of the scene. He’d go down and I’d try to help him again.” Fox said when the still guy moved in, the wood dissipated. “But we finished the scene. If not they were going to bring another guy in to do the hardcore.” Case said he’s seen that happen on a few of Fox’s shoots where, as soon as he photographer steps in for stills, the male performer goes down. Fox was also of the opinion that it would be better to get the video shot first with sex and the stills later. Fox said on another occasion she worked with a guy who couldn’t pop. “The guy had been partying too hard the night before,” Case remembered.

Case said they wound up going through a few stunt cocks. “None of them could keep a hard on. What they wound up doing was they had you put a guy’s limp penis in your mouth along with a mixture of vanilla yogurt and pineapple daiquiri mix.” Case said something like that would make him feel cheated. “If I’m watching a video and all of a sudden she starts burping up pineapple shit…” Fox said that was basically what happened during her scene Tuesday. “I burped it up all over the bed.” But Fox said she’d prefer a mouthful of pineapple-stuff any day. Fox said Tuesday’s scene was a condom one with an open mouth pop shot. “It was supposed to be a facial. We did vanilla creamer and egg whites. You have to let it spill out naturally.”

At one point, according to Fox, the production crew was considering bringing in Tony Tedeschi as a stunt cock. “They were going to use a stunt cock today. But, granted, we had all the softcore knocked out.” Fox said the other guy managed to get wood long enough where they could get three minutes in one position.

Case said the normal porn fan doesn’t get to see this kind of chicanery where the set gets cleared. “And it’s just you and the guy.” Fox said she then asked the guy what he needed her to do. “What can I do to help you?” Fox said the guy wanted his balls rubbed. “Then he would stroke it. I was rubbing his nipples and stuff. He started getting wood and I put the condom on with my mouth. That’s the first time I had ever done that.” After screaming out “we’ve got wood!” Fox said she was on the guy’s cock but felt after a couple of minutes he was shrinking inside of her. Fox also said the guy is known for walking off sets not being able to get wood. “But we made it through the scene.” Fox, however, was disinclined to name names. “He’s a very nice guy.” To boot, Case said the guy was also a very good actor. “But he’s not a good performer.”
