LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. – A Lawrence County, Tenn., woman accused of buying pornographic magazines and videos for her teenage son has been placed on probation as a part of a plea agreement, authorities said today.
Officials with the Lawrence County District Attorney General’s Office said Susan McDonald Miles, 46, Henryville Road, Ethridge, Tenn., entered a guilty plea in General Sessions Court.
Courthouse officials said as part of the plea agreement, the charge of exhibit of pornographic materials to a minor was dismissed. Investigators said Miles was accused of purchasing porn magazines, tapes and liquor for her 14-year-old son.
As a part of the plea agreement, courthouse officials said Miles pleaded guilty to two counts of simple possession of marijuana, two counts of forgery, burglary, theft of property – all felonies – and other misdemeanor charges.
District Attorney General Mike Bottoms said Miles was sentenced to eight yeas and granted probation.
