Seidman Apologizes to AVN

PORN VALLEY, CA – After last week’s emotional tribulations, Steve Seidman formally apologized to Adult Video News [AVN] for his unnecessary negative statements, ones that got him suspended from his show Dee & The Fat Men on KSEXradio.com.

Seidman writes:

I would like to apologize to Tim Connelly and Paul Fishbein at AVN in regards to comments I made on AdultFYI.com. All comments were made in anger after an AVN reporter made statements that were confidential and asked to remain that way.

AVN is a well respected medium in the adult industry and in no way were my comments made against AVN, just the way someone on their staff handled a situation. Hopefully this apology will be accepted. In no way do I want to get involved with personal feuds with a good company of their stature.

Thank you,

Steve Seidman

In Regards to Steve’s KSEX Suspension, Dennis Hof writes:

Good move Wankus!

I loved the look on the Wankers face when I ask his pj Steve Seidman about Him leaving the BunnyRanch, when he admitted he was in arrested and spent time in jail for SEX & DRUG CHARGES. When I fired Steve I didn’t want to embarrass him and tell the world about his prison record and the arrest for what he calls “WHITE SLAVERY” and I didn’t think it was my place to tell anyone about Steve and his DRUG arrest.

Wankus after the show was very curious about the sex charges, I said Wankus maybe should do a better job screening your on air people, I didn’t and look what it got me. I told Wankus “I am not going to tell about the sex charges, you need to find out on your own.

My guess is KSEX is done with Seidman.

Wankus writes:

Let’s make sure we’re all real clear here.

First of all, I like Steve. I consider him a friend and his issues with Dennis Hof are between him, Dennis Hof and lately anyone who listens to KSEX or reads the adult news sites.

I also have no issues with Dennis Hof. Anytime I’ve met him, I’ve known him to be a gentlemen, have a fun personality and I had a good time when I visited the ranch quite some time ago. The claims people make against Steve or Dennis do not reflect my view of either party. My experience with both of them has always been a good one.

In regards to Steve’s criminal record, the drug charges are from many years ago when he was addicted and running with a bad crowd. Hanging around Steve now I know that he is clean in that regard and I’m proud of him for it. My concern regarding the sexual conviction history Steve admitted to was valid. Obviously, I wanted to make sure that it wasn’t a Netherland Ranch type of charge. Having someone work at KSEX on the “Sexual Offenders List” would not be a good thing.

Fortunately, I have been told that this former conviction is nothing of the sort and I’m satisfied with that. You must remember, as we all work in the adult industry, any one of us can be the victim of a clause in an obscenity law, pandering law, etc. Even though most of us are doing everything we can to not cross the legal line, Daddy Ashcroft and friends will do anything they can to lock us up as soon as they can find a legal angle.

Porn people with criminal records? Please. This isn’t a gov’t job. As a person in a management position I can only ascertain what the crime was, how recent it was and if it will affect my business. Where Steve is at in his life right now does not make me fear any negative effects on KSEX.

Steve has not been fired. He has been suspended, taken off the air for a month so he can think about things and so he knows we’re serious about not going too far in our wild and crazy broadcasts. AVN has already accepted KSEX’s apology, hopefully they will accept Steve’s as well.

We will all move on from this learning a few things and continue to provide adult stars a place to promote themselves, as well as breaking news and entertaining radio shows.

Dee and the Fat Men will still keep the same name, only as I said on my show Friday night, “the studio floor boards and sofa seat cushions will get a little bit of a break for the next 30 days.”
