from www.rawstory.com – A waitress in New Jersey is facing federal and state charges for streaming video online of herself sexually molesting a 5-year-old girl who she was babysitting.

Authorities said that 32-year-old Jennifer Mahoney [pictured] is facing up to 30 years in prison for sexual exploitation of a minor.

A criminal complaint filed in federal court last week said that she had used the Skype messaging service to stream video of herself performing oral sex on the girl, including licking the girl’s buttocks.

At one point in the video, Mahoney tells the girl to “lean over, sweetheart, so I can rinse you” as she bathes the 5-year-old.

“Like a mermaid?” the girl asks.

“Like a mermaid, sweetheart,” Mahoney replies.

An investigation of 32-year-old Robert J. Ramos Jr. in Austin, Texas led authorities to Mahoney. He is accused of illegally recording the streaming video of the girl being abused. He is also charged with using fake Facebook profiles to trick at least one 14-year-old to send him nude pictures of herself.

“We cannot forget that for every image or video of what we call child pornography, a child will carry the lifelong scars of rape and abuse recorded for others’ gratification,” U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said Mahoney told The Associated Press. “Whether making, distributing or viewing child pornography, the depraved appetites of offenders create a market for the destruction of a child’s innocence.”

Mahoney’s lawyer has said that she will plead not guilty in court later this month.
