Today, I have attached three articles for your consideration. The first is an article concerning the GOP Leadership. The second is a call to investigate possible corruption in that same leadership. And, finally, MoveOn.com’s appeal for America to support the release of Fahrenheit 9/11 on its opening weekend. 2. The complaint was filed today with the House Ethics Committee, which must now decide whether to investigate DeLay for involving a federal agency in a partisan affair (using the FAA to track Texas Democratic lawmakers); for soliciting money from an energy company in exchange for supporting favorable legislation ($25,000 from Westar Energy Corp); and for illegally funding GOP candidates for the Texas legislature using corporate contributions through his PAC and the Republican National Committee.

It is an incredibly powerful movie that lays bare the cynicism and greed behind Bush’s war policy. And the astonishing and revealing footage in it has the power to change the course of the 2004 election. (There’s a full review below.)

Given how devastating the movie is to President Bush’s carefully crafted facade, it’s hardly surprising that right-wing groups who call Moore a “domestic enemy” are using censorship and intimidation tactics to try to get it pulled from theaters.
