Two Nailed in Craigslist Hooker Scam

NY- So this guy from Minnesota comes to New York looking for a good time. He goes on craigslist and sees an ad from Tiffany [pictured] and a few very suggestive photos.

But when boy met girl at the Intercontinental Hotel Sunday, it quickly became clear that a match made in heaven was not in store.

Turns out the hooker wasn’t Tiffany – at least not the woman in the pictures. And she wasn’t particularly interested in providing an “unrushed session.”

What she was interested in was taking his money.

The tourist, whose name was not released, was assaulted and robbed by the woman and her female partner, who was hiding in the hotel room closet, police said.

Candice Lang, 19, and Cedra Neely, 18, each stand about 5-feet-2 and weigh 110 pounds – but police say they’ve become quite the pilfering pair.

They’ve been arrested twice in the past week for robbing and assaulting their unsuspecting johns in midtown hotels, a police source said.

The women, originally from California, have been arrested numerous times in San Francisco and Las Vegas since February 2006 for prostitution, drug possession, robbing johns and fighting with cops, the source said.

Their arrest Sunday stemmed from the encounter at the Intercontinental on E. 48th St.

The tourist and Neely – the alleged “true stunning blonde bombshell” named Tiffany – began arguing over the meaning of “full service massage” and the fact that Neely did not resemble the woman in the ad, which advertised her as “5 feet 5 with a toned petite body,” police said.

Eventually, Neely said she was willing to perform a massage with a “happy ending” for $300, police said.

The tourist refused.

As he tried to leave the room, Lang emerged from the closet and leaped on his back while Neely kicked and punched him, police said.

The tourist had several bruises, cuts and lumps on his face, police said.

They “don’t see this as robbery. They believe they’re entitled to the money whether it’s for an hour or a second. There’s no backing out,” the source explained, adding the women freely admitted to resorting to violence whenever there is a dispute over services rendered or not rendered.

Last Tuesday, they met another man at the Milford Plaza on W. 45th St. While Lang began to massage the man on the hotel bed, Neely rifled through the pockets of his pants slung over a nearby chair, removing $1,000, court documents show.

The women had originally been charged with grand larceny, but the district attorney’s office reduced that charge to petty larceny, records show.

Sunday’s arrest will be prosecuted as a robbery, a Manhattan district attorney’s office spokeswoman said.

“They live by the pimp rule book, which means a trick is a trick, and they’ll get their money no matter what,” said the source.
