Jason Sechrest is set to return to KSEX for his sixth year, hosting "The Jason Sechrest Show" with guests Tyler Faith and Tristan Mathews. This broadcast will mark Faith's initial appearance on the program at its new studio.

Show Format and Schedule

Columnist and host Jason Sechrest announced a format change for his KSEX.com show. Previously known as "The Young & the Curious," the program is now titled "The Jason Sechrest Show" and began airing three nights a week starting Monday, July 9, 2007. Live broadcasts are scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 4 to 6 pm PT, with rebroadcasts from 10 pm to midnight.

The live feed and an "immediate archive" feature are available to members of KSEX.com and Sechrest’s adult entertainment site, JasonCurious.com. Sechrest intends to continue bridging the gap between the straight and gay adult communities. Monday nights are tailored for straight audiences, Wednesday nights for gay audiences, and Fridays feature a mix of "anything goes."

The new format expands beyond pornography to include political debates and inner industry controversies. Guests will range from musicians and bloggers to astrologers and drag queens. Sechrest, who has worked as a reporter in adult entertainment for almost a decade, stated that the show will be sexy and feature pornography, but will also tackle controversial topics.

KSEX Background and Changes

KSEX, also known as KSEXradio, is an online radio station that discusses topics on sex and pornography. It is described as one of the only adult Internet radio stations specializing in news and current events in the United States pornography industry. The station was originally operated from a garage in the San Diego area before being purchased by a group that previously owned the CyberSynergism affiliate program and content provider.

Wayne C. Lewis, a voice actor and radio personality who uses the on-air name Wankus, managed KSEX and later became a part owner. Wankus was publicly fired from the station while on-air in May 2007. KSEX includes various radio programs hosted by "PJs," many of whom are established porn stars, such as Sunset Thomas. Ultimate Entertainment Group (UEG) purchased KSEXradio in 2006. KSEX permanently shut down as of February 4, 2008, according to an article by Jason Sechrest on AdultFYI.com.

In April 2008, the adult entertainment site Rude.com occupied the former KSEXradio studio space and some of its crew. Rude.com launched RudeTV as an adult internet television channel with programming similar to KSEX.

Guest Appearances and Connections

Tyler Faith is scheduled to appear on "The Jason Sechrest Show." Faith previously performed her first anal scene in the final scene of Jill Kelly Productions' "Bill & Stace." In "Bill & Stace," Faith's character, Stace, lives with Bill, played by Kurt Lockwood, a heterosexual man. Faith's anal experience had been limited to eight times in her personal life before this scene, where she was sodomized by Lockwood. Toni English, the director of "Bill & Stace," made an appearance on "The Young & the Curious." Jason Sechrest, who hosted "The Young & the Curious," had a non-sex role in "Bill & Stace." "The Young & the Curious" aired from 6-7 p.m. on KSEXradio.
