from www.nydailynews.com – A former Playboy model is convicted of some not-so-model behavior.
Playboy’s 2006 Model of the Year fainted after being found guilty in England of assaulting a fellow clubgoer in a nightclub rest room.
Louise Glover, 26, collapsed on the ground, crying and screaming hysterically as a Hove Crown Court judge announced Wednesday that he was keeping “all sentencing options open,” according to BBC News.
Glover attacked deejay Maxine Hardcastle in a fit of jealousy after accusing the woman of eying her husband during a night out in Brighton, England, in 2007.
The buxom brunette was convicted of slamming the victim’s head against a toilet up to 10 times and then trying to shove her head into the bowl.
Hardscastle, the daughter of 1980s musician Paul Hardscatle, was covered in blood and suffered a broken nose, facial bruising, hair loss and scratches on her arms and legs.
“My nose was on the other side of my face,” Hardcastle told the courtroom. “It wasn’t in the middle of my face anymore. It was completely on one side.”
Glover claimed Maxine’s injuries came from the stall door being kicked in and claimed she ripped out the deejay’s hair and “whacked” her only in self-defense.
It took the jury less than an hour to find Glover guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. She was released on conditional bail and must reappear in court Feb. 4.
This was not the Playboy bunny’s first run-in with the law. In 2005, Glover was convicted of benefit fraud while working as a model and was sentenced to 240 hours of community service, which, according the UK’s Daily Mail, she then failed to carry out.
