WESTLAKE, Ohio from www.cleveland.com — A former Playboy Playmate was found dead in her home Friday morning following a suspected heroin overdose, police said.
The Cuyhoga County Coroner’s office has yet to issue a ruling on the cause of death for 40-year-old Jennifer Lynn Jackson-Thompson, whose body police said was discovered by her husband.
Jackson-Thompson had a troubled history with law enforcement, including arrests for drugs and driving while impaired. She had been arrested four times in the past five years, according to police records.
Earlier this year, she was taken into custody following a fight at a Center Ridge Road trailer park. In 2005, Jackson-Thompson was charged with receiving stolen property, but charges were later dropped.
On June 30, 2007 Jackson was arrested a second time in Oberlin for operating a vehicle while impaired. She was also charged with stealing cigarettes from a gas station. Police said they found both marijuana and rolling papers in her car at the time.
Jackson-Thompson graduated from North Olmsted High School in 1986 and went on to study business and finance at Kent State University.
In April 1989, at the age of 19, Jackson appeared in a Playboy pictorial and was the Playmate of the Month. She was also one of the finalists for the magazine’s 35th Anniversary pictorial.
