Rebecca Bargy, who is 26, was sentenced Monday in the death of her 29-year-old husband James Bargy in April 2008, according to The Daily Herald of Columbia.

Rebecca Bargy was convicted May 20 of negligent homicide — a lesser charge than the second-degree murder indictment against her.

She was accused of tying up and gagging her husband as part of a bondage fantasy and leaving him alone in their mobile home for 20 hours while she was with another man she had met on the Internet.

A medical examiner testified James Bargy died of suffocation.

Rebecca Bargy was ordered to serve her sentence in the Maury County Jail.
