from www.nypost.com – It’s Gronk’s world, we’re just all living in it.

The football season may be underway and the Summer of Gronk has officially been brought to a close, but there’s no stopping the Patriots tight end from having as much fun as humanly possible.

To recap, Gronkowski set the NFL record for tight ends last season with 18 total touchdowns (17 receiving, one rushing) and yards (1,327), dominated the red carpet (and party scene) at this summer’s ESPY awards and nabbed the cover of ESPN Magazine’s The Body Issue wearing nothing but a pair of hulk hands.

Gronkowski’s off-the-field antics not only earned him a reprimand from the Patriots earlier this year, but also caught the eye of former adult film star Britney Maclin.

The Patriots tight end, shirtless as usual, posted a picture with the ex-skin-flick actress wearing his jersey last year during his bye week, but it seems as if her influence is having an effect on Gronk’s play this season.

The scantily-clad Maclin posted a photo to her Twitter account early this morning of herself and Gronkowski in a series of Gronk-related tweets.

“I pic of gronk of I [sic] that no one has ever seen lol – naughty,” Maclin posted to her account on Wednesday morning.

The blonde bombshell also credited herself for Gronkowski’s questionable play this past Sunday in the Patriots’ 20-18 loss to the Cardinals. Gronkowski had six catches for 75 yards and a touchdown but dropped key passes in the upset loss to Arizona.

“Gronk told me he dropped those balls bc he was thinking of me! Gotta get back in his life,” Maclin tweeted with a smile emoticon.

To his credit, Gronkowski owned up to the loss.

“The loss could be on me,” Gronkowski told The Boston Herald. “I got that penalty at the end holding the guy. You can’t have things like that happen.

“I’ve got to go out there and play better. In the first three quarters, I’ve got to go out there and play better. At the start of the game, I’ve got to go out there and start faster, start stronger. Overall, I’ve just got to improve in every aspect of the game. I can’t go out there and be doing that.”
